Elon Musk’s girlfriend Grimes shared a selfie photo on Instagram and sparked rumors that she had cosmetic surgery lip enhancement. At the moment, the singer hasn’t commented if the ‘larger lip’ look is due to some esthetic surgery, or if it is simply ‘too much lip liner’. However, the lip is not the thing that got the public’s attention the most. In the description of the post, she states that she is considering a face tattoo.
“I am very seriously considering getting a white ink tattoo on my face next week.” – the singer captioned the post. “Any thoughts? It feels like it’s time.”

Grimes appears to have some sort of obsession with white ink tattoos. Previously she made a full-back white ink tattoo, that according to her looks like ‘beautiful alien scars’.
“Full-back in white ink by Tweak T with some help from the alien computer brain of Nusi Quero. Don’t have a good pic because it hurts too much and I need to sleep haha. It’ll be red for a few weeks, but gonna be beautiful alien scars. Hope everyone’s having a good day.” – she wrote after she shared a photo of her ‘alien scarred’ back.
Social media users immediately started giving their feedback and their opinions on her plans. While many were supportive of the singer and of her choices, many criticized her taste in tattoos.
“You have a unique beautiful face, I hope the tattoo will only make it better!” – one user noted, concerned that a face tattoo might destroy Grimes’ face.
It is not the first time that Grimes speaks about covering her body in white ink tattoos. Back in January, she shared an Instagram story, claiming that she plans on covering her whole body in ink. To put it in her words, she works her way to a ‘full alien body, totally covered in white ink.’
The singer also has a very unique view of human bodies and their use. Grimes said that – “Human and animal bodies are the most primal means of expression. Bodies are probably the first canvas for ideas before creatures could even be self-aware enough to have ideas. So I think style is important.”
People know Grimes more because of her 4-year relationship with Elon Musk than they know her for her music. Her relationship with Elon Musk lasted from 2018 until 2021 when they announced their separation.
Elon and Grimes share two children together, a son and a daughter. However, despite creating a family together, they have a sort of unconventional relationship.
“I would probably refer to him as my boyfriend, but we’re very fluid. We live in separate houses. We’re best friends. We see each other all the time. We just have our own thing going on, and I don’t expect other people to understand it.” – she told Vanity Fair about her relationship with Musk.
