Lala Kent seemingly took a jab at Randall Emmett after the lawsuit against him by a former assistant was settled.
Lala Kent Shades Her Ex Randall Emmett After His Lawsuit Was Settled-‘Does Not Mean The Victim Is Not Credible’
Martin G’Blae, the producer’s former assistant and African American, sued Emmett and his production company for racial discrimination, alleging that he was fired for inappropriate tasks like allegedly paying for prostitutes, despite having been assigned them.
Furthermore, G’Blae, 29, accused Emmett, 51, of bringing cocaine to Puerto Rico while filming there. While the lawsuit did not go any further, Lala still had a lot to say about the matter.
In her comments, she said: “It was not ‘dismissed,’” it was settled. There is a huge difference. What I’ve learned in this town is everyone has a price.
“It does not mean the victim is not credible — rather, they were overpowered, threatened, paid, then silenced.”
Suann MacIsaac, who happens to be Randall’s attorney from Kinsella Weitzman law firm, denied that he had ever used a racially derogatory term in his life, and stated that Mr. G’Blae was well aware of it.
In addition, Emmett also alleged that Lala and his former wife, Ambyr Childers, had worked together to ‘destroy’ him. In a statement, Emmett denied having been verbally and emotionally abusive towards Childers during their eight-year marriage.
He stated: “I believe that Ambyr and Lauren are working together in [an] attempt to destroy my reputation to give them both an advantage for custody.”
The fans on social media had a lot to say about the matter. A significant proportion of the fan base felt that Randall had no one to blame but himself for this hostility.
And in the process, he must do everything to try and make this controversy go away. One person wrote: “This dude must really regret it.”
It is fair to say that things are not looking good for Randall, and his reputation has certainly been damaged. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
