The Factory have really been a nuisance in AEW as of late, and QT Marshall might have gone too far hitting Danhausen with a piledriver on the steel steps during Lee Johnson’s recent match against Orange Cassidy. Tonight, they will face Best Friends in a ten man tag team encounter. Normally just a trio, Best Friends have brought in Rocky Romero – and handed off a VHS tape recorded by someone who is very nice, and very evil.

Best Friends Are One Man Down

This match would kick off with only four men in the Best Friends corner. Chuck would get Solo down with the Koji Clutch, with Solo getting his foot on the bottom rope. Trent would tag in to keep the pressure on with some heavy chops in the corner, before Johnson got the tag. Rocky Romero & Trent would show their tag team skills in cutting down Johnson before a running knee strike.

Romero would set up the Forever Clotheslines, hitting four before a throat thrust. QT Marshall would get punched around by Best Friends, before they’d all pose in the corners with Factory tripping everyone up before hugging Marshall in the middle of the ring. Johnson & Comoroto would start to isolate Trent, before Karter would come off the top rope with a Frog Splash – taking two knees to the stomach.

Marshall got the tag and was spiked with the Backdrop Driver. OC would meet Comoroto after the tag, quickly sending him to the floor before hitting a double Hurricanrana on Johnson & Solo. Marshall would rush OC with a punch, before losing him in the ropes and having his head smashed off the turnbuckle before taking a crossbody.

    Danhausen Is VERY Evil

OC would look for the Satellite DDT, but Marshall would toss him off before a punch to the face. Best Friends hit the Half & Half Suplex – Sole Food combo, before Comoroto ran them down with a double lariat. Karter would take Best Friends out on the floor, before Marshall blocked an Orange Punch into a Diamond Cutter.

When QT was looking for a piledriver on the stairs, Danhausen would hit the ring with a spike and a jar of teeth to new music. He’d nail a German Suplex to every member of The Factory who opposed him, before grabbing the jar of Teeth. Comoroto took the Orange Punch before having the teeth poured in his mouth and was nailed with a pump kick for the finish.

After the bell, QT Marshall was thrown back in the ring – taking the spike between the eyes from Danhausen. Best Friends would hug their very nice, very evil friend – and very victorious – Danhausen.

    Never Count Ricky Starks Out

Ricky Starks could never have guessed the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament would work out so badly for him. His first round match was delayed due to a minor injury suffered by Lance Archer. He was able to defeat Archer last night on AEW Rampage with a lucky spear, before being chokeslammed onto the steel steps. Now, his path to the finals goes through Zero Hour as he faces former Team Taz ally Brian Cage. With Ethan Page waiting, can Starks make the finals – or will Brian Cage shut him down.

Before the bell even rang, Starks would get stomped – but would rush into the fight with a Thesz Press. Cage would be sent out to the floor, with Starks hitting some hard right hands – but Cage would hit the suplex back into the ring. Starks was all taped up from the chokeslam on the steel steps last night, as Ethan Page watched from commentary – happy to see both potential opponents break each other down.

Cage would hit a backbreaker, before the running pump kick to the jaw, with Starks able to find his feet before a running forearm smash. Starks pulled himself to the top rope, with the crossbody caught into yet another backbreaker for a near fall. Using the ropes, Starks would hit the swinging DDT – getting a near fall of his own.

Weapon-X from Cage would be blocked into a roll up, before Starks hit the ropes for a spear – getting a two count. Cage would be able to hit the Discus Lariat for a two count, before the F5 would be blocked into a Canadian Destroyer before Roshambo for the finish – Starks makes the finals.
