For weeks now, Nyla Rose has been running around claiming to be the TBS Champion. She has stolen the belt from Jade Cargill, and made a mockery of the undefeated champion at every turn. Cargill has finally accepted to simply defend the title against Rose tonight at Full Gear, knowing this is her best chance of getting her hands on Rose and reclaiming what was stolen. However, Rose is a former AEW Women’s World Champion – and tonight might give Cargill her greatest test to date.
Jade Cargill Moves To 42-0
Nyla Rose would roll to the ring in a lowrider, before Cargill hit the ring looking like she belonged in ThunderCats. Two big entrances for two bigger than life stars in this division. Rose would attack Kiera Hogan at ringside, making the mistake of taking her eyes off the true champion.
Cargill would get the early edge, beating Rose into the crowd and back to the ringside area. Rose would be able to trip Cargill into the steel steps, finally getting an opening. Some quick scoop slams and a running splash would get a one count. Rolling senton in the corner would land, before Cargill was able to find an opening.
Cargill would try to dive, but landed into a boot to the face before a neckbreaker for a two count. Rose would set Cargill up on the ropes before the diving knee drop for a near fall. A beast bomb would be countered, with Cargill hitting one of her own. Cargill had finally found her footing, and would look right for Jaded – with Rose blocking into a roll up.
Rose would look to hit Jaded, and it’d land – with Cargill barely kicking out of her own finisher. Cargill would avoid the Swanton Bomb, and landed the biggest pump kick of her career. Jaded would follow – and the undefeated reign of Cargill continues to 42-0.
Chris Jericho Enters High Risk Title Match
Chris Jericho has been the ROH World Champion for 60 days now, and in that time – has done a lot to get the brand of Ring of Honor noticed.
