Back in the TBS Championship tournament, Nyla Rose fell to Ruby Soho. Since then, this loss has been something Rose refused to accept – and tonight in Chicago, the former AEW Women’s Wrld Champion has a chance to redeem the loss. Once again they will meet one on one, and this time – Rose knows the tricks Soho has up her sleeve.

Nyla Rose Scores A Big Win Over Ruby Soho

Lars Frederiksen of Rancid was at ringside and had a moment with Ruby Soho before the match. Hitting the ring, Soho threw her jacket at Rose for an opening – before being dropped with a scoop slam. Rose would flaunt her power, simply holding Soho down with a front chancery before nailing a suplex . The step over armbar was applied, and The Native Beast snacked on the fingers of Soho – much to the disapproval of the referee.

Soho was choked in the corner, but was still fighting with some chops. Rose shot back with a headbutt, and another scoop slam. A leg drop quickly followed, with Soho kicking out at two. Rose went after the hand again, before nailing a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, and turning it into a submission.

Soho would try again to fight back into the match, nailing Deadly Nightshade in the corner. Some running kicks would follow, and she’d be able to get Rose on the apron. Chops would be traded, before Rose wanted an apron Beast Bomb. Soho fought out and hit a headbutt before getting Rose up for a driver on the apron! Back into the ring, Soho nailed the No Future Kick – but Vickie Guerrero pulled the leg of Rose under the ropes.

Taking her eyes off Rose to go after Vickie, Soho was yanked into the ring for a neckbreaker. Rose went to the top rope, but Soho hit a chop. She would be unable to follow up with the NO Future kick, and took a swanton bomb and Beast Bomb for the finish.

Hangman Page Gets The Fight He Asks For

Next week, Hangman Page has his next title challenger to deal with. Lance Archer wants a Texas Deathmatch, and Hangman Page is ready for that. He’s already spilled buckets of blood in 2022, so what’s a little more? Tonight, he will speak ahead of this match – and perhaps shed some light on how he plans to defeat Archer.

For 81 days – Page has been AEW World Champion. He has only defended twice, and just wants someone to fight. However – he doesn’t want this to come next week, and instead is ready to defend against Lance Archer tonight. Instead, Dan Lambert and Jake Roberts would try to talk. Archer would break through and a fight broke out.

Page would get thrown into the steel steps, chokeslamed onto them, before a Blackout right through the announce table. Next week, Archer claims it will go the same way – and we’ll have a new champion.

Can Hangman Page remain the AEW World Champion? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
