The RCMP are investigating a hit-and-run incident that left a man with serious injuries. On December 15, 2022, a 37-year-old man from Northlands Denesuline First Nation was struck by a white four-door car. The vehicle was heading westbound on Churchill Drive in Thompson, Manitoba.

After the man was struck, the driver sped off. The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries . Fortunately, those injuries weren’t life threatening. An announcement was made by the RCMP on December 21 appealing to the public for information.
Along with the announcement, the RCMP also released video of the vehicle speeding away from the incident. The video is pretty much all authorities have to work with for this case as the victim didn’t catch anything.
It’s a case with no leads at the moment and since it’s an incident with nothing to indicate that the victim was familiar with the driver.
