‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set to keep things rolling with some fresh spoilery goodies to share.
This is going to be an interesting episode simply to see how badly things are going to go sideways in another storyline that had so much potential.
At this point, we’re waiting to see how the wheels fall off Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)’s plan and it looks like it’s already crumbling.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, April 12: Hiding in plain sight
Everyone processes their grief differently, and while Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) sinks into a similar psychosis like her mother, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will take a slightly different approach.
While they both want justice and are intent on seeing it handed out, Daniel can see through the smoke and mirrors and knows Jeremy is to blame for Phyllis’ death, not Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
And while he’s going to be plotting to either bring him down or kill him, he’ll have to guard against letting anyone learn about his plan, and this will include his father.
Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will try to be the father Daniel needs, and while Daniel will be making his plans and trying to keep them from prying eyes, it looks like Danny will have one of his own to keep.
This has “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers thinking, and we’re wondering if Danny knows what his son is planning and is choosing to stay silent, or is there something bigger going on in his life he wants to protect Daniel from?
Since they just lost Phyllis, the last thing Danny will want to do is push Daniel further into despair by telling him he’s sick or that something more is wrong.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, April 12: One step closer
Sadly, “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers have gotten used to being let down by the show’s storylines the last couple of years as they’ve lacked any punch or emotion.
In this case, it doesn’t help that we knew Phyllis wasn’t dead. The show could’ve played up that the actress could be leaving or something along those lines, or made the death more believable by having the ambulance crash in a direct route to the hospital.
We’re sure no one bothered to check the dental records since those are often the first thing that’s checked following a fire, but Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is on the case.
Within minutes of his first search of Phyllis’ room he found a syringe of the same poison that’ll be in her tainted blood sample, and we’re willing to bet Diane’s fingerprints won’t be on the bottle, thwarting Stark’s claims there.
There’s a chance this storyline could wrap up quickly, and then we’re onto Summer’s unhinged accusations that’ll destroy her and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)’s marriage.
