Since the creation of All Elite Wrestling in 2019, four men have waved the flag of ‘homegrown talent’ in the eyes of fans. MJF, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara & Jack Perry had no TV experience, yet shined brighter than most when AEW Dynamite began – with all having won championships. However only MJF has won the AEW World Championship, putting him on top of the company.

Tonight, the four pillars all share the ring for the very first time, as they meet in a Fatal Four Way match, with the top prize, and perhaps the future of AEW hanging in the balance. On his way to the ring, Sammy Guevara & Tay Melo would share huge news – that they’re having a baby!

Melo is pregnant, which explains her absence from the ring. Guevara is now more fired up than ever, looking to start this new stage of his career as champion.

MJF Tells Sammy Guevara To Think About His Future Child

Perry, Allin & Guevara would go after MJF as the match began, taking him out of the occasion. With MJF out, they’d all try for dropkicks – leading to a three way stalemate.

MJF gave mocking applause on the apron, only to be hit with three elbows. He’d hit the ring to clear it before teasing a dive and doing a Rick Rude crotch swivel instead.

Allin sent him out of the ring, and followed with a dive. Perry followed with one of his own, before Guevara hit a Shooting Star Press to the floor.

Back in the ring, Perry would be hung in the tree of woe as Allin & Guevara looked for a superplex, with Allin & Guevara thrown into MJF who was creeping in.

Perry hit a Poisonrana on Guevara, getting a two count before both were sent to the floor. Allin went for a Side Headlock Takeover on MJF, getting a two count before Guevara threw Allin from the ring.

Guevara would focus on Perry on the floor, before catching a dive from Allin into a cutter. MJF would take a Spanish Fly & Frog Splash – but managed to kick out.

Allin would take a wrist clutch driver from MJF for a two count, before Perry & Guevara hit the ring. Perry was caught with a big dropkick, before MJF hit the Cross Rhodes. MJF would cut a mid-match promo, urging Guevara to take a fall for a large sum of money – and to think of his future baby.

    Complete Four Way Chaos

Guevara agreed, luring MJF and trying for a roll up – getting a two count. GTH would be blocked, and MJF tried for a LeBell Lock. Guevara blocked, and applied the Walls Of Jericho. Allin got Perry into the Scorpion Deathlock, but Perry & MJF prevented each other from tapping out.

We’d get a four way submission, with Allin putting Guevara in a Figure Four, Perry grabbing an armbar on Allin, MJF getting caught by the ankle by Guevara, and Perry caught in a headlock by MJF.

This wouldn’t lead to a submission, and Guevara would hit a Springboard Canadian Destroyer on Allin, only for Perry to hit one of his own.

Perry would jump across the backs of Allin & Guevara to hit MJF with a Destroyer, getting a near fall. MJF & Perry rolled to the floor, and Allin drove them both out to the crowd with a big double lariat.

Guevara & Allin would battle on the top rope, and Guevara launched with a Spanish Fly – landing on Perry & MJF at ringside.

All four men pulled themselves into the ring, with Perry & Allin holding MJF in place for a cutter. Allin hit the Code Red, and Perry the sliding elbow before MJF was thrown from the ring.

Perry, Guevara & Allin would trade pinfall attempts, with Perry taken out. Allin tried for the Coffin Drop, but was crotched on the top rope by MJF. MJF would hit a top rope powerbomb – but was unable to follow up.

MJF Wins With A Side Headlock Takeover Again

Perry would attempt some pinfalls on fallen opponents, but was unable to find a three count. MJF remembered Fatal Four Way matches were no DQ, hitting a low blow on Guevara and getting the Dynamite Diamond Ring. Allin hit him in the back of the head with a skateboard and followed up with a Coffin Drop.

Wanting to end this match the way their singles PPV match went – Allin would go for the Side Headlock Takeover, allowing Perry time to break the pinfall up.

Perry would disarm MJF as he grabbed the AEW World Championship – and considered using it himself, but had a crisis of faith. Allin got the Last Supper, but Perry kicked out.

Guevara hit the GTH, but Allin pushed him off the top rope. Allin hit the Coffin Drop, with MJF putting the AEW World Championship in place for Allin to land on. With Allin knocked silly, MJF used the Side Headlock Takeover, and escapes with his championship reign intact.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
