Andrade El Idolo has been missing from AEW for a while now – having suffered a torn pec during the AEW World Trios Championship tournament. His road to recovery is now over- and Andrade is jumping right back into the mix.

He will face one third of the AEW World Trios Champions in Buddy Matthew – and with La Faccion Ingobernable ready to back him up, House of Black could be in for some major trouble.

The Leader Of La Faccion Ingobernable Returns With A Bang

Backing up Matthews was Julia Hart, while Andrade was ready to fight without anyone directly at ringside. Andrade would get welcome back chants for his first match in 282 days, and looked to be in peak physical condition – adding extra muscle while he was gone. Matthews hit a shoulder tackle to the pec of Andrade, who shrugged it off.

Andrade would shove Matthews before being taken to the mat with a side headlock takeover. He’d quickly slip free with a headscissor, before being thrown at the ropes and hitting his signature taunt.

Matthews was lured out to the floor where he took a Wrecking Ball Dropkick. Andrade would scold Hart for touching his entrance mask, before a Cartwheel Moonsault off the apron onto Matthews.

Matthews would throw Andrade into the timekeepers area, only for Andrade to jump off the apron with a hurricanrana – sending Matthews into the barricade.

Back in the ring, Andrade would be yanked into the turnbuckle shoulder first before being launched into the barricade from the apron. Diving Meteora from Matthews would get a near fall, with Matthews landing hard on his previously injured left knee.

Both men would be checked by AEW medical staff during the picture in picture break, Andrade with his pec being checked, and Matthews his knee.

They would make sure this match could continue, with both men calling them off and ready to fight. Matthews & Andrade would trade blows in the middle of the ring, with Andrade kicking at the knee before being yanked to the mat shoulder first.

Andrade El Idolo Pulls From The Flair Playbook

Back to the floor, Andrade was thrown shoulder first into the barricade – yowling in pain as Matthews entered the ring looking for a count out victory.

Hart would stare down at Andrade with a cold glare, but he would not be bewitched – and returned to the ring by eight. Matthews would hit some mocking kicks to the face and shoulder of Andrade, asking him to wake up.

A dragon screw leg whip would land, and Andrade quickly followed up with two more to the left knee. Flying Forearm Smash to the face of Matthews would land, and Andrade would kip up to his feet – showing some serious babyface fire before the double jump moonsault would find a near fall. Channeling some Latino Heat, Andrade would try for the Three Amigos – but was sent to the apron.

As he tried to go for a slingshot spear, Andrade was caught in a DDT for a near fall. Matthews would head up top, but was met with a series of strikes from Andrade before he’d look for a Superplex – with Matthews trying for the Sunset Flip Bomb as a counter, but the knee gave out briefly.

Two superkicks would land, but a powerbomb would fail – and Andrade hit the spinning back elbow. Matthews was dazed, but came back with a jumping knee strike for a near fall.

Reverse cloverleaf hold would be applied, but Andrade blocked and sent Matthews face first into the turnbuckle before applying the signature move of the Flair family – the figure four leg lock, bridged into the figure eight – and would force Matthews to submit. Andrade offered a handshake after the bell, only to be run down by Malakai Black & Brody King.

Miro Is Just As Dominant As Everyone Remembers, Scorpio Sky Set To Return

When it comes to the history of the TNT Championship, a few champions stand out – but few defined the history of the belt quite like The Redeemer.

Miro has been out of action for a while, but intends to make up for lost time as he returns to the ring for the first time since 2022 for the debut episode of AEW Collision.

Before the return of Miro would happen – we would see a quick glimpse at Scorpio Sky, who is also set to return very soon. A former AEW World Tag Team & TNT Champion – Sky is still viewed as a potential top name in this company, and a return on AEW Collision is just another reason this show is set to become must see TV each and every week.

Tony Nese would be in the ring, trying to shut the show down – convincing the crowd to get up and exercise. The sound of trumpets was never more welcome, and there was a Premier Athlete to be redeemed.

Miro would march to the ring, getting a hero’s welcome. Nese would try to flee, using his agility – but his strikes wouldn’t even make Miro flinch.

A flurry of strikes in the ring would see Nese nearly beaten into submission – but Miro was just getting started. A stiff lariat would follow, before Nese hit a hotshot using the top rope – stunning Miro briefly before being caught out of the sky after a crossbody went wrong.

Fallaway Slam launched Nese across the ring, before a kick to the face just angered The Redeemer. Uranage planted Miro, before the Running Superkick and Game Over – Nese was finished, and Miro is as dominant as ever.
