AEW Dark rolls on. We now have QT Marshall in singles action, with Allie by his side. Dustin and Brandi follow from very far behind and they’re actually wearing the shirts Allie made for them… they’re way oversized, Brandi’s in particular. They’re clearly not happy but they were atleast good enough sports to actually put them on. QT will square off against Zack Clayton.
QT Marshall vs. Zack Clayton
As the match begins, Excalibur again tries to inquire about Butcher and the Blade but Allie totally ignores it. Meanwhile Clayton takes QT into the ropes but he breaks it with some big uppercuts! Clayton with a knee lift to the gut, dumps him but QT right back up to the apron, flips over top him and then clotheslines him to the floor before skinning the cat! Marshall throws Clayton back into the ring, whip to the ropes but Clayton holds on. Back body drop sends QT to the ramp but he lands on his feet. Forearm, wants the springboard but Clayton dropkicks him out of the air! This spurs Allie to go over, kneels over QT to try and help him out.
Clayton takes offense, pulls QT away from her, pounds him and yells at Allie. Takes him into the ring as Brandi actually comes to Allie’s aid. Clayton clobbers him into the corner. Nails a clothesline, Delayed Vertical Suplex brings him down hard! Hits the ropes, leg drop for a 2 count! Side headlock punch to the face, QT fights back with a Handspring Enziguri! Wants the QT Cutter, Clayton takes him to the corner, QT tries to explode out but Clayton with a Snap Powerslam for a nearfall! Right in front of Dustin too! Clayton tried to undo the turnbuckle, Brandi Rhodes on the apron to get him to stop. QT comes in, Clayton side-steps and Marshall actually sends Brandi sprawling onto Dustin!
She came down on her left hand and injured it. QT with a Lethal Combination in the ring but then he goes to check on Brandi who is selling her wrist. Suddenly Allie starts selling her own hand, claiming to have broken a nail? And QT hilariously goes over to check on her instead of Brandi! This lets Clayton take over and he throws QT into the ring. He goes up top, Allie grabs the leg of Clayton to stop him unbeknownst to Marshall and this sets up a QT Cutter off the second rope for the win!
Winner: QT Marshall
It’s a pretty pensive celebration after this, to say the least!
