Revolution Pro Wrestling’s (RevPro) return from a COVID-19 (Coronavirus, 2019) forced delay was a showcase of production and high-level wrestling. While RevPro is a staple member of the IWGP Conception led by New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), they remain an independent wrestling promotion.
However, its production values are likely the best of any independent promotion around the world, and the promotions regular roster can measure up or surpass any independent promotion.
Owner Andy Quidlan and Rob Lias opened the show, spending time to build up every match on the card. Of note, the commentary they provided is also top-notch in comparison to other independent outfits.
The first match saw Robbie X face ‘True Grit’ Connor Mills. During the pre-taped statements from both did a quality job in building up the match being about who the best wrestler is.
The match itself was extremely impressive, both wrestlers showed a high level of skill. Robbie X would win the match with his Xclamation technique at the 12 minute and 20-second mark.

The second match saw Kenneth Halfpenny and Brendan White from the RevPro Condtenders Division (similar to Young Lions in New Japan Pro Wrestling) face each other in what was a grudge match between the two.
Halfpenny stood out due to his strong basics and ability to emote during the match. White was also impressive and was able to showcase his potential.
White would take the fall from Halfpenny at the 12 minute and 30-second mark with a Spinning Sidewalk Slam technique, to become the de facto leader of the Contenders Division in his mind.
Extremely good match from wrestlers with fairly high ceilings, especially if they are allowed the ability to breathe as their careers progress.
