While there are a couple of mixed signals on what the WWE is doing with this storyline, WWE Smackdown Preview expects to see it finally come to a resolution tonight.
Before HIAC, Roman Reigns told Jey and Jimmy Uso that if Jey quit they’d be cast out of the family.
It made sense given the storyline, but then it was reported online and during WWE commercials during Raw that Jey will be Reign’s indentured servant.
While it could be both, we expect a twist.
The Bloodline
We think Reigns will offer “forgiveness” to the twins for their transgressions and the process of the Usos turning heel will begin.
We expect Jimmy will be first because he was the one Jey showed weakness over and it’ll irritate him.
This will take some time since Jimmy isn’t expected back in the ring for a couple of months yet, so it’ll be a long storyline.
But all factions have to start somewhere. We’re mainly curious to see how long it’ll take Jey being embarrassed to sign on.
Sasha Banks to be challenged
With Sasha Banks finally getting her revenge on Bayley, it’d make sense to move onto another feud despite this one being ripe for the plucking.
Given the WWE dragged their feet in getting this rivalry going, we expect Bayley to continue challenging Banks on some level, but it’ll be Bianca Belair that’ll step up as Banks’ first challenger.
Belair is too good and has been pushed too hard not to at least put her in position for a mini feud with Banks, even if it’s just to bide time for Bayley to lick her wounds to challenge at Survivor Series.
What makes this a tough sell is the seeming lack of talent in the women’s division on Smackdown since they rarely show who they have.
They do have plenty of additional talent on hand with Billie Kay, Carmella, Liv Morgan, Natalya, Ruby Riott, Tamina, and Zelina Vega, but it’s hard seeing any of them challenge for the women’s title.
At least, at this time, so it looks like Bayley or Beliar it is, and that’s a good thing.
This could lead to a really entertaining triple threat type of match if they play it right while bringing in younger talent.
However it works out, WWE Smackdown Preview are expecting tonight to be an interesting one.
