At NXT Takeover: WarGames, Team Blackheart was not successful. Despite this, Shotzi Blackheart is very proud of what she accomplished there, especially breaking the arm of LeRae. Tonight, she intends to break LeRaes new protege as well, when she faces Indi Hartwell.
Blackheart is just ready for a fight, and this is the biggest test yet for Hartwell. She has Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae & Austin Theory cheering her on at ringside, while Blackheart just has her trusty tank, which sadly doesn’t really help to even the odds, but damn it looks cool.
Shotzi Blackheart Tries To Control Hartwell
Blackheart would take Hartwell down with a quick armdrag, before being taken down several times. Hartwell used her height to stay in control, before being cut down with a dropkick. Blackheart would look to use her ground game to control this match. Hartwell got back to a vertical base, Blackheart got an enziguri but missed the senton in the corner.
Hartwell took control once again, but was spending more time checking what Gargano & LeRae think at ringside than focusing on Blackheart. This allowed Blackheart to take control again, this time able to nail the senton in the corner. Hartwell went to the apron and was drop kicked to the floor, but LeRae ran a quick distraction.
Indi Hartwell Does Things The Gargano Way
Hartwell would be handed the trophy LeRae ‘won’ at WarGames and hit Blackheart in the stomach. It was in full view of the official, and Blackheart won by DQ. Blackheart was beaten down and defenseless, and hit with a Wicked Step-Sister from LeRae, who’s boots had a nice heel to them.
