Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results!
This should be an interesting show tonight with some good matches and potential surprise appearances. We’re keeping our fingers crossed on the latter.
Let’s get to the action!
To kick things off, Roman Reigns came out with Paul Heyman and Jey Uso.
Even piped in “You suck!” chants are awesome at this moment.
Reigns started off by saying there’s been a lot of discussion about what they did to Kevin Owens, and he said he likes him and respects him.
He added he doesn’t want anything bad to happen to Owens, but Owens backed him against the wall and made him take extraordinary measures.
Reigns then said he cares about everyone there, about their families and puts food on all of their tables.
And now he claimed Owens can’t come to work anymore and Reigns was shocked that everyone blamed him and said the right direction to point at is at Adam Pearce for making the match.
He then called for Pearce to come to the ring.
Heyman called him out too, and said Reigns is calling him out and he needs to come out so the commentators called him.
Pearce came out and asked Reigns what he can do for him.
Reigns told him to watch a clip package they have for him, and it was a highlight reel of his steel cage win over Owens and then last week’s match between Owens and Jey and the following carnage.
Back in the ring, Reigns looked away, ashamed at what happened, and then asked Pearce what he had to say for himself.
Reigns said it
Pearce asked him what he wanted him to say about it.
Reigns said he wants him to take responsibility and own it like a man. He said he has witnesses and that he said he was done with Owens and wanted to move forward, but Owens went to Pearce.
Reigns then said someone that knew another that long would care about their well being.
He then called Pearce out saying they’re doing their job and questioned Pearce and what he did. He then laid Owens not being there at Pearce’s feet.
Reigns accused him of having a conflict of interest, and said Pearce thinks he’s stupid and a fool.
Pearce pointed out he never said that, and Reigns said Pearce must be stupid and then claimed that Vince McMahon must be stupid, and it came back to him saying Reigns was stupid.
Nice circular logic.
Reigns said Pearce doesn’t respect him or his family and there would be consequences.
Pearce told him he has total respect for him.
Reigns then told Pearce that for the moment he’s perfectly safe and left the ring. WWE Smackdown Results have been waiting for Pearce to be confronted by Reigns.
Looks like Reigns is stretching out his power.
