Impact Wrestling Preview loved when Brian Myers accepted Eddie Edwards’ open challenge for the Impact World Championship after he arrived at Impact Wrestling.
Since then, Myers has established himself as an up and comer with an attitude that makes it so enjoyable to watch him.
He’s such an awesome heel, we love it whenever he pops onto the screen, and this week he’s going to face Impact legend Eddie Edwards again.
This time it’s to add a notch in Myers’ belt as Edwards lost the world title a couple of months back and recently closed out his latest feud with Sami Callihan.
Edwards is considered the heart of Impact Wrestling and for good reason. He’s a locker room leader that everyone likes and he’s the antithesis to everything Myers stands for.
When their opposing views clash in the ring, it’s going to be one of the best matches of the night as these old pros give us their all.
In the end, it’s hard to pick a winner, but we feel it’ll be Myers simply to continue his current push. He won’t win cleanly as he rarely does, and that’ll only add fuel to this feud for the next couple of weeks.
Matt Hardy and Private Party stir things up
After their appearance on last week’s Impact Wrestling and their surprising and hard fought win over Chris Sabin and James Storm to get a shot at the Impact Tag Team Champions, The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows).
They’ve been slated to appear tonight and Impact Wrestling Preview can only assume we’re going to be in for some fun misadventure as they accidentally on purpose pick a fight with someone else on the roster.
Rather, Impact Legend Jerry Lynn helping them win last week with Tony Kahn at his side will spark problems and they’ll be confronted with having to prove themselves again.
Against whom is the question. Maybe a rematch with Sabin and Storm?
One thing is for sure, and it’s AEW’s invasion of Impact Wrestling is picking up steam, and we’re curious when Impact is going to win something on their home turf or will they return the favor on Dynamite?
We may not see that for a while as Impact is definitely being built as the underdog with the Bullet Club in the middle.
Should be interesting to see how this develops down the road. Since last week felt more like a WWE show than not, we have to wonder, will there be any defections from one company to the other?
