Hikaru Shida has held the AEW World Women’s Championship for over a year now, but she might not be able to say that much longer. She’s taken out everyone during her reign, but one name has avoided another match with Shida until now. Last time Britt Baker met Shida, she got a broken nose in a hard hitting brawl. Since then, Baker has become another breed of professional wrestler, and arguably the biggest female star in the company as she climbed the ranks. Tonight, she finally looks to become champion.

Shida was overwhelmed to finally defend a belt in front of a packed crowd, finally achieving her dream. They’d meet in the middle of the ring for a staredown, before Baker & Shida exchanged strikes.
