At NXT Takeover 36, following the NXT Women’s Championship match, Kay Lee Ray would finally arrive. The former NXT UK Women’s Champion is now in NXT, and while fans have gotten a taste of her as she was previously involved in War Games. However, then she wasn’t looking to be the NXT Women’s Champion, that has changed. Tonight, she will take on Valentia Feroz, and look to send a message to Raquel Gonzalez in the process.

Kay Lee Ray Gets Her First Dominant Win Of Many

Feroz would look ready to go, and would lock up with the longest reigning NXT UK Women’s Champion. KLR would go for a wrist lock, but Feroz rolled away and went for some forearm shots. She’d shrug this off, and nail a front suplex and some heavy kicks. A big scoop slam would follow, before a chinlock that bordered on a choke.

KLR easily shows her insane aggression with a chop to the throat in the corner, before whipping Feroz across the ring. A big dropkick would give Feroz a chance, but a superkick snuffed out the comeback. Gory Bomb would be nailed in the middle of the ring, and this one was over just like. She’d stand over Feroz, and this is just the first win of many.

After the match, we’d see Jacy Jayne & Gigi Dolin be confronted with an offer from Mandy Rose. They were beaten down, and Rose who would say to follow her and never look back, and never be like this again.

Samoa Joe Has No Shortage Of Challengers

Samoa Joe called his shot when he demanded to be reinstated as part of the active roster, and go head to head with Karrion Kross. This paid off in a big way, as he’s now the first ever three time NXT Champion. Tonight, he will address the NXT Universe, and let everyone know what’s coming next.

He’d show up not ready to celebrate, as he knows the weight of a champion. Everyone wants a piece of the champion, and he knows this. Joe was here to fight, and the champ was waiting for someone to step up. Pete Dunne has been waiting for a moment like this ever since Joe came back to NXT,

He’d say he doesn’t care about how many times Joe has been champion, he just wants Joe to go and demand to have the match be made. LA Knight would hit the ring next, and claim that Joe is scared of him. He wants to be the first and last challenger, before Dunne threatened to break his fingers.

Finally, Kyle O’Reilly limped out, showing the damage of his war with Adam Cole. He’d say he knows Dunne & Joe, but Knight doesn’t know him. O’Reilly knows fans don’t want any of seeing Knight in the title picture, but Holland would take O’Reilly out. Tommaso Ciampa would hit the ring to go after Dunne and be taken out, before Knight took a shot at Joe and suffered. Who will Joe defend against first?
