‘The Family Chantel’: Pedro Jimeno Meets His Half-brothers For Answers
Fans know that Pedro Jimeno has been looking for his father, and he met his cousin in NYC who put him in contact with his two half-brothers. When he visited his family in the Dominican Republic, he meets up with his cousins so that he could find out more about his father’s past.
His half-brother told him that he found out about him and Nicole Jimeno Morel about a decade ago, and that they were shocked to find out that their dad had another family that they didn’t know anything about for two decades. In 2010, Pedro’s half-brother was organizing his father’s papers when he found some shredded pages.
When Pedro started to put the letters together, he noticed that it was a letter from a woman. In the letter, the woman said, “you no longer come to visit your kids.” They found out that the letter was from Lidia Morel and that their daddy had another family.
This revelation left Pedro in shock. He started to realize that Lidia Morel wanted his dad to have a relationship with him and Nicole. He was happy to hear about this. He claimed that the revelation was “like a movie.” Now, Pedro needs to apologize to his mother after all the things he has said to her.
While Pedro knows that it is too late to have the father-son relationship he should have had with his dad, he wants his father to apologize for all he did. This would make him happy.
‘The Family Chantel’: Lidia Says She Didn’t Write Any Letter
When Pedro talks to his mom. Lidia, about the letters, she denies writing it. This left him upset. He goes on to ask her if she ever loved his dad and she said, “no,” which made him feel like he and Nicole were mistakes. To that, Lidia seems to agree with him as she responds with, “exactly.”
Pedro angrily leaves his mother’s house. He was confused because he didn’t know whether he should believe his mom or his half-brothers. When he calls them to find out the content of the letter, somehow, the letter no longer exists, but one of his half-brothers gave him his dad’s number when the met.
However, when Pedro Jimeno called his father, no one answers. Pedro does not know if his father his not responding because it is an American number, or the old man is just not interested in talking to him.
