The convention was held a few days earlier and, on the 8th, the couple went out to a restaurant and to a bar. It was at the bar where Ratray was said to have had ten shots. Two women would ask for the actor’s autograph and his girlfriend gave them pre-signed autographs.
This turned into an argument as the girlfriend didn’t charge the two women for the autographs. According to the police report, Ratray attacked his girlfriend once they were back in their hotel room.
The Attack
That is when Ratray forced the woman onto the bed and choked her with one hand. The other hand was to cover her mouth during the alleged attack. According to the police, he also told her “This is how you die.”
Ratray’s girlfriend initially escaped after biting her but not before getting punched by the 44-year-old former The Tick star. She returned to gather some things but the attack resumed with Devin Ratray pushing her into a desk.
At the end of the attack, Ratray’s girlfriend was left bruising and marks under both eyes, a sore arm, marks on her upper lip, and a bruise on her chest. In speaking to TMZ on the incident, a representative for Devin Ratray chalked it up as “a bad argument” and they broke up.
