Dakota Johnson of 50 Shades of Gray fame has opened up on details of her relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
Dakota Johnson Spills The Beans On Her Relationship With Chris Martin-‘We’ve Been Together For Quite A While’
Dakata Johnson and Chris Martin for their part, raised eyebrows when it became clear that they were together. This was on the grounds that there was a significant age gap between them.
Chris is 44-years-old, while Dakota is 32. Not only that, Chris Martin does have children with his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow. And it turns out that Dakota Johnson is very close to Gwyneth. So much so that they were all pictured together on a trip at the beach along with Chris.
But prior to it all becoming public, they managed to keep things well-hidden. As a result, they have managed to navigate that issue of privacy together.
In an interview with Elle UK, Dakota said: “We’ve been together for quite a while, and we go out sometimes, but we both work so much that it’s nice to be at home and be cozy and private.”
And their relationship has gone from strength to strength. So much so that even Dakota Johnson’s family have given Chris Martin the seal of approval.
Dakota’s father, Don Johnson, has previously spoken about his fondness for the singer and given his blessing to his daughter as long as he continues to make her happy.
In a prior interview with Fox, Don remarked: “If she’s happy, I will be happy, and he’s a lovely guy. And if she decides to get married, I would imagine that there would be grandchildren.”
Is too early to speculate whether they will end up having children, but by having Gwenyth in their lives, Dakota could not be in a better position to consider such a thing.
She has managed to witness first-hand the dedication that Chris and Gwenyth continue to show with their children, despite being apart. That is why the future does have a lot of possibilities. Ultimately, who knows what could happen next.
But if things continue to go on in a positive light, then there is a very realistic possibility that they could be walking down the aisle at some point. We will have to see how it will play out.
