Regarding Prince Harry‘s latest request for police back-up for his family’s security, the prince received backlash from a number of Royal fans. The Duke of Sussex claims that the reason why he hasn’t returned to the UK was because of security. He had asked the UK Police for protection, especially for his family.
Prince harry even offered to pay for the security detail since he was no longer a working Royal, and no longer performs royal duties. He filed for a judicial review against the home office’s decision that was preventing him from personally paying for protection during his visit to Britain.

In light of this, Royal fans have taken to different platforms to air their grievances. Royal author, for example, took to Twitter. Also, another Twitter user, Royal Tea whose bio reads “American PR expert” replied to Mr. Scobie’s tweet: “REMINDER-Charles gave the Sussexes MILLIONS of $ when they left. Also, referring to Camilla as Prince Charles ‘then-long-term mistress in 2002 is gross. They had both been divorced for years and publicly for several years. She needed security because of this exact type of BS.”
The amount of money spoken about here refers to the ‘substantial sum’ that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were rumored to have received from Prince Charles after they quitted working as royals. Speaking on the security issue, Prince Harry’s legal representative said that the prince has “inherited a security risk at birth, for life.”
He continued, “He remains sixth in line to the throne, served two tours of combat duty in Afghanistan, and in recent years his family has been subjected to neo-Nazi and extremist attacks. The Representative’s stance is that, even though Prince Harry’s role as a royal member had changed, his profile had not: nor has the threat to Meghan Markle and their children.
