Kenny Omega has been said to be one of the best wrestlers in the world. There were a lot of people who said that Kenny Omega has lost his touch.
Since then, he has proved them wrong. As he’s known as one of the top heels in wrestling today. With his massive heel turn in his rematch against one of the best faces, Jon Moxley. From his amazing story with Jon Moxley to his great story with Hangman Adam Paige.
There is a lot there that turned him into the heel he is today. It does seem like we could see him as a good guy at some point in the future. Currently it seems like it could be impossible but there is one way he could turn face again.
The Reunion.
If you weren’t around when NJPW had Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes, Youngs Bucks and Hangman Paige.
Then you may not know about Kenny Omega’s best friend, Ibushi. Although you may have now heard of Ibushi. He has a great friendship with Kenny Omega. As he and Ibushi used to be a tag team called the Golden Lovers.
With him having a fantastic reunion when Kenny Omega was about to be attacked by Cody Rhoes. When Ibushi ran out to save him. This was the first time in ages we saw Ibushi and Kenny Omega together again.A second reunion like this could be the only way Kenny Omega turns face.
How could this take place?
A crossover seems like it’s definitely going to happen with AEW and NJPW at some point. This could be the chance for them to reunite. They could play it out the same way but play opposite roles. With someone attacking Ibushi and Kenny saving him this time.
It may even include Cody Rhodes. As of now, Kenny and Cody seem to purposely be set apart. This does seem to be adding up to something huge between Cody and Kenny.
It is kind of hard to choose which one should be the good guy in the future feud. Although. it should be used to change both characters dramatically in the future with Kenny turning face and Cody finally turning heel in AEW and maybe making a faction?
