Cody Rhodes has a huge announcement to make. After being laid out by Anthony Ogogo last week, it might be in regards to him. However with Rhodes being in a management role within AEW, it could even be about the future of AEW itself.
Anthony Ogogo Is Going To Feel The American Dream
He’d start his promo by talking about how much he loves America, it runs through his veins, as you’d expect from the son of The American Dream. America has its major issues, but Anthony Ogogo didn’t come here to live the British Dream. The UK has created some incredible wrestlers, and maybe Ogogo will join them someday.
Rhodes would give an American history lesson, and say that Ogogo can expect to have an opponent at Double or Nothing. He won’t be wrestling The American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes is gonna channel his late father to show Ogogo what The American Dream feels like.
The Pinnacle Get Some Champagne To Celebrate
Last week at AEW: Blood & Guts, The Pinnacle was able to defeat The Inner Circle in the titular match. They proved that now, they are the number one faction in AEW. Tonight, they get officially coronated as number one, which might just be some very self celebrating back patting.
MJF hit the ring wearing a crown and pink suit, and demanded everyone bow to The Pinnacle. He’d call Jericho a coward, and say that he’s now hiding from The Pinnacle. Tully would say that when you quit, you quit, so The Inner Circle better not show their face around anymore, and bought all of The Pinnacle thousand dollar watches as presents.
They’d be cut off as Hager, Guevara and Ortiz rolled up in a cart, with a lot of the bubbly in the back. Jericho was hanging out with a cast, and asked for a rematch as Guevara armed the cannon. MJF denied the request, and Guevara sprayed them down. The Pinnacle might have won the battle, but this war might keep on going after this.
MJF would lay down the challenge for Double Or Nothing, and it’ll be Stadium Stampede. If The Inner Circle loses, they have to break up forever.
