Congratulations are in order after Home Alone star, Macaulay Culkin and former Disney star, Brenda Song welcomed their first child together last week. The couple named their son after Culkin’s late sister, who passed away in 2008.

Long-time lovers and former co-stars, Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin welcomed a healthy baby on Monday, April 5 at 1:10 p.m., in Los Angeles. They have named their bouncing baby boy, Dakota Song Culkin.

Dakota was his father’s late sister’s name. The new born weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces. Dakota is the first child for both actors. “We’re overjoyed,” they shared in a short statement they released about the birth of their baby.
Culkin and Brenda met on the sets of ‘Changeland’ in Thailand a few years ago. The duo started living together a few years after and have three cats, a few fish, a Shiba Inu, and a blue-headed pionus (parrot).
Macaulay Culkin Talked About Making Babies
In 2018, the Home Alone star talked about having a child with Song. He shared this in Joe Rogan’s podcast. “I’m gonna make some babies. This one’s a good one, so I’m probably going to put some babies in her in a little bit. I mean, we’ve definitely been practicing” he said.
Macaulay has appeared in films like Home Alone, The Nutcracker, Richie Rich among many others as a child star. Fans can watch out for him in the upcoming season of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story. Brenda Song became popular after she featured in the hit Disney show The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Her last appearance on TV was in the 2019 film Secret Obsession.
Shortly after the birth of their new-born was announced ‘Home Alone’ movies and ‘The Suite Life’ series fans took to Twitter to express their shock and also send the couple their congratulatory messages.
