I’m a hardcore wrestling fan, by which I mean I’m a hardcore fan of wrestling... but I also have nothing against hardcore wrestling! I’ve been watching since 2006, back when I was 12 years old. In that time I’ve fervently followed WWE, TNA, ROH, Lucha Underground and others. Today I’m most passionate about NXT, New Japan and especially AEW! Impact Wrestling has sent out a press release giving details for their end of Summer tour. This includes Unbreakable on August 2nd, Star Struck in Los Angeles on August 3rd on Twitch, as well as Impact TV tapings on August 4th. Entertainment reporter Chris Van Vliet has signed with AEW. He announced as much himself on his personal Instagram page. He will be acting as a backstage interviewer, beginning with AEW’s debut on TNT on October 2nd. Vliet is already known for his wrestling interviews, frequently posted to his YouTube channel. He has sat down with many AEW wrestlers in particular, including Chris Jericho, Cody, The Young Bucks and more. AEW star MJF was recently on the Talk Is Jericho podcast, during which he fielded many questions. WMC Action News 5 in Memphis and PWInsider are reporting that Jerry Lawler is filing a wrongful death suit against Hardeman County, Tennessee and specifically Hardeman County Sheriff John Doolen. The lawsuit pertains to the 2018 death of Jerry Lawler’s son Brian. The death was ruled a suicide after he was found hanging in his prison cell. He is alleging that during Brian’s incarceration, he was not given proper treatment for his drug and alcohol issues. Got some WWE Injury Updates tonight, the latest on some of the shelved superstars of WWE. Fightful.com have reportedly gained some insight on WWE’s internal inactive list. This has shed new light on a few situations. Former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, who earlier this year was forced to relinquish the gold due to a neck injury is evidently expected to return in mid-August. This is tremendous news. Impact Wrestling have announced two matches for the upcoming Impact episode. Tessa Blanchard, thought by many to be among the best women’s wrestlers going, will be facing off with Madman Fulton. Fulton was formerly known as Sawyer Fulton in NXT. Fulton is part of the oVe stable, led by Sami Callihan, who is currently embroiled in a feud with Blanchard.
