AEW Dynamite continues. We see a replay of Shawn Spears getting a victory over Billy Gunn on this week’s episode of AEW Dark. They pretty much never do that, so that’s pretty cool. It leads to Shawn coming out for a match against the one and only Justin Law! Shawn Spears vs. Justin Law Spears smiling brightly as the bell rings. Spears takes control of him quick and takes him over with a snapmare. Spears clearly not taking this too seriously. Lock-up, Law with a wristlock but Spears gets him again with a snapmare and starts condescendingly talking him up.…

AEW Dynamite continues. Kip Sabian comes out with Penelope Ford to take on Chuck Taylor, who happens to have Orange Cassidy by himself. Chuck Taylor vs. Kip Sabian Chuck with a little walk on his knees to start us off. Wristlock cinched in, Sabian rolls his way out of it and reverses. Chuck rolls through as well for a side headlock take over, headscissor from Sabian, Chuck kips his way out of the hold. Headlock back in, Kip shoots him off, Chuck with the shoulder block. Sabian with a leapfrog, but Chuck surprises him with a single leg takedown into…

We see a segment called the Bubbly Bunch, featuring the Inner Circle. We see a phone call between Santana and Ortiz running down the Young Bucks. They argue over who is the “Carlos” of the group. They suggest that they’re jacking Sammy Guevara’s style. Guevara is also on the call and agrees, calls out Matt Hardy for trying to suggest he’s a fake latino. Says he must be Version S for Version Stupido. Starts counting very badly in Spanish as he pounds a punching bag. Jake Hager is on the call too of course and says he’d choke out Kenny…

AEW Dynamite rolls on. Britt Baker has a vignette going over the rules of being a role model. Rule #1 is to always fight fair, a crucual part of being a role model that is rarely adhered to. She chastises Hikaru Shida for supposedly cheating in their match last week and breaking her nose, giving her a deviated septum in her own words. Britt’s got some tape on her nose as she talks about this. Says that Britt had to persevere even though her usual adoring fans were not there to support her, she did it all on her own.…

AEW Dynamite begins with a series of vignettes from Jake Roberts and Colt Cabana speaking about the TNT Championship Tournament match pitting Colt against Lance Archer. That match is our opening contest. TNT Championship Tournament Round 1: Lance Archer vs. Colt Cabana Colt gets in Lance’s face but right at the bell Archer drops him with a haymaker! AEW Dynamite is on tonight and you’ll be able to see the results below as they come, plus links to in-depth recaps. Segment 1: In the opening match, Colt Cabana took on Lance Archer in the first round of the TNT Championship Tournament.
