We get a card rundown for Backlash culminating in hyping Asuka vs. Nia Jax – this is actually Jax’s first mention on the show as far as I recall even though Asuka has appeared plenty. I presume we’ll see her in this closing segment as Asuka comes out for this main event match against Charlotte Flair. MVP & Bobby Lashley vs. The Viking Raiders MVP and Ivar start but MVP immediately tags out to Lashley, Bobby gets the advantage, hits a Flatliner and takes Ivar to the heel corner. Quick tags and isolation as they double team him. Ivar fights back, hoists Lashley over to his corner and Erik tags in, forces Lashley back to the heel corner where MVP tags in.
