Dustin Rhodes is sick of Dark Order, and is ready to take matters into his own hands. After being beat down months ago, he’s finally stepping into the ring to get some payback. He’s starting with the former Preston Vance, now 10.
Rhodes has him dwarfed in experience, and The Nightmare Family to back him up, but this could be the biggest win in the career of 10, which makes him very dangerous. He’s got a 4-3 record, Dustin Rhodes has 16-7, mostly in tag team action with QT Marshall but can still close it out in singles.
Dustin Rhodes Doesn’t Waste Time
10 showed his power early with a big shove, but Rhodes dodged out of the way and was able to throw some quick strikes as 10 charged in. Rhodes threw 10 outside, but after slamming him into the barricade he was flapjacked onto the ringside. Thrown back in, 10 would kick Rhodes in the ribs, and nail a big spinebuster before doing the Dark Order taunt.
Rhodes got to the apron and was kicked off to the outside, 10 slowly following and kicking Aaron Sallow in the face for fun. He took his eyes off Rhodes, and when back in the ring we got a few throat thrusts from Rhodes and a big lariat. Rhodes would show his darker side as he bit at 10 in the corner before the running bulldog for a three count.
This was a quick win for the veteran, who is keen on entering his 33rd year in wrestling with some momentum.
Evil Uno Has An Offer
After the match, Evil Uno and the rest of Dark Order would come to the ring. He’d apologize for past attacks before, and go on to say how much a legend he is… yet the third most important Rhodes in AEW, behind Cody & Brandi. Dark Order can help him, but will he join them and become Seven of The Dark Order?
Rhodes might have considered, but not at Seven. He’s not going back to that gimmick. Instead, he’d slap Uno in the face, who would hold the troops back, and tell Rhodes to think about it.
