Last week, Hangman Page rejected the proposal of John Silver to join The Dark Order. He simply needs to ride alone for a bit longer, and looks to get back into the singles groove as he faces Ryan Nemeth. Nemeth is actually the brother of WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler, a multiple time world champion. Can Ryan live up to his brothers hype?
Ryan Nemeth Shows Some Potential
Drawing Page as your first opponent in two years isn’t easy, but Nemeth was determined to make this debut a success. He’d go right of a single leg, and almost catch Page, who went to the ropes. Page grabbed an arm, and was shoved off and got the shoulder tackle. Nemeth went for a leapfrog, but took a boot to the face instead.
Page laid in some heavy chops in the corner, before Nemeth got two of his own. Nemeth got cocky, and took a huge forearm, before being stomped in the corner. Page sent him to the apron, and hit the springboard lariat before a vaulting body press. Nemeth would get back in the ring, and dodge a charge from Page and get a dropkick.
Hangman Page Gets The Attention Of Matt Hardy
Matt Hardy came to ringside to scout someone, and Nemeth had some control over Page at the time. Some big knee strikes stunned Page, before he took a Rick Rude style neckbreaker. Hardy seemed impressed by Page, who got some explosive clotheslines and a spinebuster. A sliding lariat got a two count, before Page took Nemeth to his shoulder, only to have him slip off and get a huge DDT.
Page quickly fought back into the match, countering a German Suplex and getting the rolling elbow. Another big lariat, and the Buckshot Lariat would be set up and ended this one with ease. Hardy was very impressed, and would love to have him join the Hardy Party. However, he’s been concerned about Page over the last few months.
He knows that the Bucks & Omega burnt him, and Dark Order have been pressuring him. Hardy just wants Page to know he supports him above all else. Page doesn’t have to dress in the hallway by catering, he can use Hardy’s locker room, no strings attached.
