The Inner Circle is fighting once again. This has become common ever since MJF & Wardlow joined up, but this time it has led to the first ever Triple Threat tag team match in AEW history! Three teams from the Inner Circle, MJF & Jericho, Santana & Ortiz, and Sammy Guevara & Jake Hager will all clash, with the winning team being the official tag team of The Inner Circle.

Obviously Santana & Ortiz are the best team of the bunch, with the others having barely any experience teaming with each other. They’re the team to beat here, and any unit backed by the full power of The Inner Circle might be a serious threat to the AEW World Tag Team Champions. If nothing else, it’s a safe bet that Inner Circle wins this match.

The Inner Circle Goes To War

The match would start with Guevara & MJF, before MJF tagged Jericho in. Le Sex Gods would lock up, with Jericho pushing Guevara into the corner but not punching him in the face. A wrist lock was applied, but Guevara slipped out and slapped Jericho in the face, nailed a corkscrew leg lariat, and sent him over the top rope. Guevara got cheeky and posed after flipping off the top rope, before catching a dropkick from Jericho into a slingshot. Hager got a punch on Jericho, and would be tagged in soon after, with Jericho tagging out to Santana.

Santana cut Hager down to size, and tagged in Ortiz. They’d hit a big double back suplex, but missed a blind tag from Jericho. Santana tagged in, and Ortiz rolled Jericho into place for a big crossbody, before Santana hit a standing moonsault press for a two count. Guevara was tagged in, only to be hit with a powerbomb combo from Santana & Ortiz, who were showing why they’re the tag team experts. Ortiz got a dropkick, before tying Guevara into a knot in his corner.

    Chris Jericho Wanted To Cheat

Santana tagged in, and chopped the helpless Guevara before hitting a big suplex for a two count. A stalling suplex allowed Jericho to tag himself in and Santana handed Guevara off to Jericho, and walked to his corner for a breather. Jericho chopped Guevara, who badly needed to tag out as he took another suplex. He fought back, crotched Jericho in the corner and tagged in Hager to clean the ring out. MJF tagged in and was slammed nearly through the mat.

Guevara would be tagged in, and he’d take Jericho out the ring and nail him with a superkick. Santana & Ortiz took out Guevara, then everyone else with a set of dives, before Guevara rose just to take out MJF. Guevara was placed on the corner and carried to the center by MJF, who was spiked with a reverse hurricanrana. Ortiz got hit with a Spanish Fly, and Hager knocked out Jericho with a boot when he grabbed his bat, and MJF when he grabbed the Dynamite Diamond Ring.

    MJF Is A Snake

Hager was dropped, and Guevara was hit with a pop up powerbomb by MJF before Jericho hit a lionsault. Santana & Ortiz hit a slam on Jericho, getting a near fall before Jericho came back with the Codebreaker for a near fall. Ortiz countered MJF & Jericho with a double DDT, before Hager tagged in and hit a Hager Bomb.

Guevara nailed a swanton bomb, but Ortiz saved this match. Jericho was hit with the GTH, then Gueavra wanted MJF. Wardlow got apron, was knocked off, but MJF got the roll up with the trunks being pulled to steal this match. Chris Jericho & MJF are going to go after the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

Will they be the ones to unseat the Young Bucks? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
