Impact Wrestling Results returned as Rich Swann was greeted by Willie Mack and Mack congratulated him on defeated Moose at Sacrifice.

Mack said he wasn’t there, but they’re going to celebrate hit win.

Swann said it’s not the time for a party as he’s got to head to the ring to take care of something but he’ll get with Mack later.

Rich Swann then made his way to the ring as the Impact Unified Champion.

Swann started it off by saying he’s weighed down by all that gold and said he can’t lie as Sacrifice was one of the hardest things he’s ever had to go through.

He added that he and Moose proved why Impact Wrestling is one of the best companies and he may not like Moose of what he does, but he respects him.

Swann said that at Sacrifice Swann was on his high horse and came out double champion. He said one championship is hard enough to come by but two?

He said that’s unthinkable and he did it.

Swann said he partied on Sunday and Monday, and he’s got something on his mind. He had a monkey on his back since January and that monkey is Kenny Omega.

    History is calling

He added it all comes around and on April 24 he has a chance to right his wrong and he’ll go there as Impact Unified World Champion and take on AEW’s World Champion.

He won’t have a Moose of Chris Sabin and Omega won’t have the Good Brothers, and it’ll just be the two of them in a one on one match to determine who the best wrestling in the world it.

Don Callis came out and faux applauded as he entered the ring and shook Swann’s hand and embraced him.

Callis told him he’s proud of him, and then grabbed a microphone. Callis told him Swann has no idea how proud he is to be there with him.

He said he likes to talk about history and they have their own and said he wants Swann to stop him if he says something that’s not right.

He said he’s the one that wanted Swann in Impact and he fought for Impact to sign them. And when he broke his leg, he fought for Swann to get paid every two weeks and he called every week to check on him.

He said he saw talent, and Swann was his guy, a once in a decade talent.

Callis fought for him to be in the main event at Bound For Glory.

He said Swann was his special toy, and then shifted to Kenny Omega’s father who had trained him.

He added that he wanted a netter car and the Sheik told him there’s always something he wants more.

For him, that’s Kenny Omega and he’s moved on to him.

He then asked him if he woke up in the middle of the night thinking about the one winged angel at Hard To Kill, and the history books say he got one winged angel.

Callis then said Omega is a once in a millennia talent and is a god of professional wrestling. While he was there for Swann, he’s there for Omega, too.

He ran down some of Omega’s best wins in AEW and that he was there and he then shouted “One winged angel” and it’s over.

He congratulated Swann on making history, and he’ll get to be a part of history again at Rebellion but there it’ll be different as Callis has already written the history and he wished Swann well.

Swann looked dejected in the ring when Callis left as his words made a impact.

    Myers makes his feelings known

Tony Kahn’s St Patrick’s Day paid add played and Kahn said he’s all business and St’ Patrick’s Day Slam will be one of their biggest with The Good Brothers appearing and he ran down the lineup of matches.

Eddie Edwards and Matt Cardona were exchanging pleasantries when Brian Myers entered the room.

Edwards told him they’re good and Myers asked if it was the ant-Myers club.

Cardona tried to make nice, but Myers told him Impact was the one time he was going to do it on his own in 18 years and told Cardona to get lost.

This storyline is a good one and both are really selling it. They way it’s going, we may not see them in the ring unless it’s a retirement type of match.

Impact Wrestling Results think it’s obvious Myers cares about Cardona, he just wants to do it on his own for once.
