Ring Of Honor 19th Anniversary Results: Matt Taven vs. Vincent [Fight Without Honor]

Matt Taven & Vincent will solve their grudge tonight, one way or another. ROH refuses to even let them into the ROH arena right now, so they took their fight elsewhere. They found a building in Fall River, Massachusetts. They’re going back to where their careers both began, and in a Fight Without Honor, it could be where a career ends. We really don’t know what to expect here from these two, but it might be violent. No one has heard from Taven or Vincent since this match was taped, and now we find out why.

    Matt Taven Enters Familiar Grounds

Taven entered the venue, and Vincent reminded him that there is no spotlight or fans to pump him up before hiding in the upper end of the building. Matt Taven noted that he knows this place best, and went looking, but Vincent popped out of hiding and threw him into a ladder before dancing with a training dummy.

They’d get into the training ring, and Taven hit some mounted punches before going for a suicide dive and being sent into more ladders. Vincent pulled him out to the hallway, and sent him flying over a desk to the floor. Taven came back with a low kick before throwing a chair at him and throwing him down the stairs.

Vincent was hit with an elbow drop as Taven jumped down the stairs onto him. Taven would drag Vincent down the stairs before Vincent got up, hitting him off the random fence door by the stairs. They’d make their way to the main ring in the building, and Vincent went for Sliced Bread off the wall, and was thrown onto some weights.

    Vincent & Taven Are Broken

In the ring, Taven would whip Vincent with his belt, before choking him with it. Vincent fought free with a knee to the groin, and exposed the boards of the ring. He’d nail the cutter on the wood, but wouldn’t look to end this one. Vincent would explain that after Final Battle 2019, everyone knows Vincent is World Champion material, but Taven remains in his way.

He’d set up two tables, before Taven fought back and was thrown onto the stage. Taven was pulled up top into the stands, and head slammed off a seat. Vincent was pulling him slowly over those tables below. Taven was reminded that he wanted this, before they’d brawl on the edge. Vincent grabbed a cutter, but Taven fought him off. They traded hands, before a giant man ran in and sent them both down. He’d pick up Vincent, and walk away.

What is next for Taven & Vincent? Who was this huge man? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
