On Sunday Night at Double Or Nothing, The Inner Circle will enter their second Stadium Stampede match. Last year, the stakes were low when they lost to The Elite. However this year, failure is not an option. If they lose to The Pinnacle, they are done. In what could be the last we ever see of this faction on Dynamite, they will be joined by Eric Bischoff as they recount their greatest moments.
The Inner Circle Have Made A Lot Of History In Their Brief Time Together
Bischoff would start by saying yesterday 25 years ago on TNT, he kicked off a revolution when the N.W.O was formed. Tonight, he welcomes a group of modern badasses to the ring in The Inner Circle. They’re back at full power aside from a heavy cast on the left elbow of Jericho, with Santana finally back after Blood & Guts. The Dynamite crowd would sing along with Judas, enjoying this moment in time.
It felt good to be surrounded by fans again, and Jericho would thank both them and Bischoff for everything he’s done in his career. Bischoff set up a video package for them, showing everything from beating up Rock & Roll Express, Jericho as AEW World Champion when he spiked the eye of Jon Moxley, killing Vanguard One and more. It’s been a helluva ride, but they could be living on borrowed time.
Chris Jericho Is Ready To Go Out In A Blaze Of Glory
Santana would recount the day they formed this faction, and 18 months later he views them as stronger than ever. They shouldered AEW through a pandemic, and now the fans are back. If this is their last dance, he wouldn’t have it any other way than falling alongside his best friends.
Hager wants to remember the hard times over this run, the times that made them hard men. They left pieces of themselves in the ring, and it made them better. Guevara would comment that when he came to AEW he had a panda hat, and now is in the best faction in AEW. He once quit the group and was lost, but he’ll do his best to help make sure that doesn’t happen.
Jericho is ready to do what The Inner Circle does best at Stadium Stampede, and will go down in a blaze of glory as needed. If this is the last time they share a ring, he just has one thing to say. He loves them, and they’d hug it out.
The Pinnacle Laid Down A Trap
MJF would interrupt this touching moment, and is just more excited to break them up. Wardlow beat down Jericho’s best friends of Dean Malenko in the Stadium, and tell Inner Circle to make strikes. Spears & FTR were waiting for the ambush and would get some hits in on The Inner Circle ahead of Sunday.
FTR hit leaping piledrivers on Santana & Ortiz through tables onto the field, as Spears laid out Guevara & Jericho with chair shots. MJF would remind everyone that The Pinnacle is on top.
Tonight they stand tall, but who will win on Sunday Night, Pinnacle or Inner Circle? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
