Since Andrade has signed with AEW, there has been a lot of information coming out about his contract arrangement. With him tied between both Impact and AEW for a while. His main reason for signing was to have creative control.
There’s no surprise that it seemed like his main issue was creative control after being in WWE, where it seems like you don’t get much creative control.
AEW Champion or TNT Championship
Andrade does have the current star power to go straight into the main event going after either Miro or Kenny Omega for the championship of AEW. How good a match between Miro and Andrade could be. Andrade beating Miro would be too early for Miro to lose the belt, and if Andrade loses, it could be terrible for him starting in AEW.
It does feel like Andrade may be the wrestler to take Kenny Omega down at some point but not at the beginning. Kenny Omega still feels like he is missing something, and there is the next step to his story, which means that Andrade should go after other top wrestlers first before going for the top spot—going after Orange Cassidy or maybe even Pac.
Should he build a Faction?
Factions seem to rule all in AEW. Andrade already has that leader feel all he needs is some followers in a dominant faction. Andrade appears to be paying a lot of tribute to Lucha in his new character.
It would make sense that Andrade would build a Lucha faction in AEW. There is currently no full Lucha faction in AEW. With a lot of talks, Rey Mysterio wanted to make a Lucha faction Andrade might beat him to the punch.
