It’s time for some Six Man Mayhem from ROH, as six men duke it out to climb the rankings. This one is one fall to a finish, and will see Mike Bennett, PJ Black, Demonic Flamita, Dak Draper, Danhausen and Eli Isom battle to see who is the best of the bunch. We can expect some insanely fast action from this one, and truly anyone could be the victor. The winner of this match puts you right into the World Title rankings.
Chaos Before The Bell Even Rings
One by one they’d hit the ring, with everyone having their focus on someone in specific.. Something to note was Mike Bennett wearing a shirt that had the name of Adam Cole front and center, one of his old teammates in The Kingdom. Dalton Castle would make his way through the crowd with his boys, and would enter the ring to give Dak Draper some advice. Isom threw a streamer at him.
Only two men would be in the ring at a time, but this one is under lucha rules so if someone leaves the ring they get back in. Flamita would start with Black, arguably the two fastest men in this match. Black would spike Flamita with a DDT, before Bennett found his way into this match. Bennett would take a heavy chop, before crashing with Black as they both went for crossbodies.
Danhausen would enter the ring to take down Dak Draker, quickly losing a test of strength. Dak would look for his finisher and get rolled up for a two count, before Bennett pulled Danhausen to the outside. Isom would enter the ring to face his rival Dak, before Dak was pulled out and Flamita took his place.
A heavy handed overhand chop to the chest of Isom would connect, before Flamita faked Isom out and hit a punch to the face. The big tornado DDT would get a two count, before he’d signal for a 450 Splash. Not wanting to give the crowd what they want after building them up, he’d flip them off and hop down to kick Isom.
Isom was out of the ring, and Flamita would catch Dak with a pendulum DDT for a two count. Flamita went up top but Isom shoved him down to the floor. Dak & Isom brawled it out before Bennett & Danhausen got into the ring. Danhausen looked for a double chokeslam, before being hit with tandem kicks.
A brawl broke out over control of the ring, with Dak & Isom being the ones left standing. Isom looked for the brainbuster before being thrown away and hit with a lariat. Black took out Dak with a superkick, Flamita took him with a spanish fly, and Bennett would cut him down with a spear. Isom took Bennett down but couldn’t capitalize, Dak & Black were on him quick, with Black yanking the other two down and falling onto the crotch of Dak.
Danhausen was in and declared himself the winner, but that’s not how it works. He cursed Todd Sinclair, before hitting the Inside Out German of Isom, and another on Dak. Danhausen would then take out Bennett with Goodnight Haunsen, and Flamita got into the ring. Flamita would nail the Muscle Buster, and got the win.
A chaotic six way match, with everyone getting some time to shine. It was a bit incoherent at times, but never dragged. Dak Draper & Isom took a lot of time, Danhausen was a fan favorite, but Flamita was the most obvious winner. Match Rating: 3/5 (***)
