CNN’s Chris Cuomo is under fire now and accused of sexual harassment by veteran television journalist Shelley Ross. She brought it up and explained that she doesn’t want him to be fired but to step up and take responsibility.
According to Ross, Cuomo put his hands on her backside. This was easy cannon fodder for those folks over at Fox, but they did make a good point. How does Cuomo cover other sexual harassment stories at this point? He was an adamant defender of his brother, Andrew Cuomo, and the accusations were levied against him. Now with this, he’d appear even more of a hypocritic than normal.
Watch the clip below where they even show emails from Cuomo to Ross.

His email to Ross with the subject line ‘Now that I think of it… I am ashamed…’ read,
“though my hearty treating was a function of being glad to see you… christian slater got arrested for a (kind of) similar act (though born of an alleged negative intent, u like my own) and as a husband i can empathize with not liking to see my wife patted as such… so pass along my apology to your very good and noble husband. and i apologize to you as well, for even putting in such a position… next time, i will remember the lesson. no matter how happy i am to see you…”
Of course, people are split about the matter of ‘canceling’ him or letting him off with the apology. Shelley Ross herself says she doesn’t want him fired, but the right is calling for Cuomo to get a taste of his own medicine.
The incident happened over a decade ago back in 2005, drawing some suspicion as to why it’s being brought up now.
What do you think? Do you think Chris Cuomo should be fired or are you willing to forgive and forget as Shelley Ross seemingly has? Let us know in the comments below.
