There have been a lot of rumours about Andrade in AEW. One of them being that Andrade is frustrated with the company after liking a tweet on Twitter. Another is that Ric Flair was meant to be his new manager and be revealed at All Out. But due to travel issues, PAC couldn’t make it to the match. Looking at that now, they might have dodged a bullet with that one. However, now Jim Cornette has had his say about Andrade’s bookings in AEW, and it makes a lot of sense.
Now Jim Cornette has had his say about Andrade booking in AEW
What Jim Cornette had to say: “Who knows what the role even is? Are they babyfaces? Are they heels? Chavo came out and cut a babyface promo his first night. By the second night, he was a heel. He’s arguing, and he was supposed to serve as some type of English language spokesperson for this guy (Andrade El Idolo).
But wait, but before that, it was Vickie Guerrero, or wait a minute. What other Guerrero was involved in this? Didn’t they give Andrade to Vickie. I’ll tell you what, Hector’s gonna do a good job of it. Hector has always been my favourite.”
Andrade having more managers than matches
After Jim Cornette comments, at the moment, Andrade has had the same amount of matches as managers, and it looks like he will have a third manager after attacking Hector Guerrero. The connection between both Andrade and Guerrero is a good idea and could be great for someone like Andrade, but now it looks like they have run out of people for managers for Andrade. Andrade doesn’t have a match set for any point in the future.
It looks like he will be going for a match against PAC again as he wasn’t happy with the finish being an interference. One thing that I can’t entirely agree with is the fact about Andrade’s character. The character work done by Andrade is fantastic. The mob boss feels great and shows that he could be a stable of AEW in the future. When Andrade starts getting the matches going and storylines, he will most likely be one of the best in AEW.
