    Damon Arnette

The Las Vegas Raiders have released Damon Arnette from their team following the emergence of a video circulating on social media, which showed the star holding guns and threatening to kill someone.

The Las Vegas Raiders Have Released Damon Arnette Following A Video Showing Him Holding A Gun And Threatening To Kill Someone

Damon, for his part, has not been in the possible position of late. He has been suffering from a lot of injuries in the past couple of seasons which have severely restricted his performances.

And given that the pandemic has not helped in any way for all sportsmen, he has found himself getting into unwanted trouble. In the video here, we can see that Damon is not himself.

He is ranting at the screen, threatening to end the life of someone. It is not clear who that person is that Damon wants to hurt, but one thing for sure is that his mental health does not look to be in a good state.

According to the video, he is heard saying the following: “I swear to God I will kill you, n****. On everything I love, I will kill you, n****. You talking crazy…Real deal kill you, my n****.”

Mike Mayock, who happens to be the General Manager of the Las Vegas Raiders, had a lot to say on the matter. In an official statement, he said: “Today, we waived Damon Arnette — a very painful decision.

“We spent significant time, effort and resources trying to help him in all facets of his life. There have been a series of bad decisions over the last year or so.

“But we can’t stand…for the video of Damon with a gun, threatening to take a life.” The reaction on social media has not been kind. Many fans were fully behind the decision to drop Damon.

One commentator knew that the writing was on the wall: “There were troubling off-the-field signs everywhere for #Raiders first-rounder Damon Arnette.”

It is not clear whether there will be any further repercussions for Damon. But he will need the support of his close friends and family during this period to keep himself together.

With that in mind, Damon will have to get his act together, or otherwise, his NFL career could be over for good. Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
