Prince Harry, since he moved to the US, has been making efforts to become financially independent as a hot-shot businessman as the Royals do not sponsor his financial dealings anymore. An Expert—Ken Wharfe, who was Princess Diana‘s former protection officer said Harry has “adopted a different ball game.”
A whole lot of Harry’s business deals began in March 2020, when he stepped away from his royal duties. When speaking about the reasons why they had ventured into many businesses, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spoke about how they didn’t have a lot of financial support.

Prince Harry has struck many deals with companies like Netflix and Spotify; and have also set up about 11 other companies. The majority of which are in the entertainment industry. These companies owned and controlled by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are named after memories of the couple and personal views.
One of the companies is named Orinoco. Prince Harry mentioned it in an interview for ITV Documentary in 2017—Diana: Our mother, her life and legacy that he had a memory of his mom driving her BMW and listening to Enya while he sat in the passenger’s seat. One of Enya’s hit songs was titled Orinoco Flow. Also, another company is named Peca-which means freckles in Spanish. This company is named after Meghan Markle, the Duchess freckles.
As to why Prince Harry chose the entertainment sector, a source once said to US Weekly Exclusive that “Harry has always had a creative streak and Meghan has inspired him to take it to the next level. The source said that Harry took the opportunity to “explore new, exciting opportunities after separating from the Royals.
