To kick off the main card of this giant indy show – we have a six way ladder match. Whoever can grab the brass ring, they get a title shot of their choice whenever they want. Any GCW title, at any time. PCO, Jordan Oliver, Jimmy Lloyd, Tony Deppen, G-Raver, & Alex Colon all in the ring for this one. These men are crazy, they’re talented, and they will all give their all to walk away with golden dreams.
Seven Way Ladder Chaos
Lio Rush was set to be in this match, but was replaced by G-Raver at the last minute. AJ Gray would also join this match – and frankly G-Raver & AJ Gray are an upgrade over Rush. Everyone split off into brawls over ladders. In the ring, Oliver & Lloyd would try to drop Deppen, only to get drop kicked. Gray would stop Deppen from grabbing the brass ring, powerbombing him into the ladder before a huge lariat.
G-Raver would throw a ladder at Gray, and this one is big enough to actually reach the brass ring. Colon & PCO would hit a ladder assisted Doomsday Device on Oliver. This wouldn’t keep him down for long, and Oliver would almost complete the climb before Jimmy Lloyd threw him face first into the ladder.
Colon & G-Raver would hit dives to the outside, and PCO would look to fly as well with a cannonball! Deppen would hit a double springboard 450 Splash, before PCO hit him with a chair shot. PCO wouldn’t be outdone, and hit a moonsault to the outside – and nailed all six opponents.
AJ Gray Wasn’t Even Booked For This Match, Leaves With The Win
Back into the ring, PCO would start the climb, with everyone trying to stop him and being tossed aside. Deppen brought a ladder into the ring as well, and was able to take PCO down. Oliver would hit a cutter off the ladder to take Deppen down, before being stopped by PCO. A package piledriver on the ladder landed flush, and PCO was all but unmatched here.
Colon brought in a chair and hit a drop toe hold onto it, before a double stomp to the back of PCO. G-Raver would have similar plans for Colon, but adding in a ladder as well. He could have got the brass ring, but instead dropped onto Colon. Lloyd launched Raver to the outside with a Razors Edge, and AJ Gray would dive from the outside in – but hit a ladder on the way down.
Colon would be inches from the ring, but Lloyd made the last minute save. John Wayne Murdoch invaded and took Colon out on the outside, before AJ Gray grabbed the brass ring for the win! He wasn’t even in this match, but now he’s got a chance to regain the GCW World Championship.
Some Lucha Libre For This Show
Sometimes, you just get to throw together six of the best luchadors available into a wild trios match. Bandido has ASF & Laredo Kid to back him up. Gringo Loco has Demonic Flamita and Arez. All six men are ready to steal the show – and they just might.
Laredo Kid & Arez would start this match, with some quick arm drags and takedowns starting this match off fast. Arez would not go outside of the ring with a hurricanrana, instead sending Laredo out. Bandido came in and hit the three amigos, before Gringo came in and hit the single leg dropkick.
ASF took Gringo down with an armdrag, and Flamita hit the ring. He’d slow things down with a drop toehold and area code kick, before teasing a 450 Splash, flipping off the fans and hitting a kick to the face instead. Arez & Flamita would hit stereo dives to the outside, and Gringo hit a brainbuster in the ring for a two count.
On the floor, Arez & Flamita would apply surfboard stretches on Laredo & Bandido, before Gringo hit a swanton bomb over the topes onto them. ASF leapt onto the pile of opponents, but was caught and thrown back into the ring. Flamita would hit a wild Tiger Driver, but Laredo made the save.
Some Truly Unique Action At WRLD On GCW
Flamita would get a two count on Bandido, before they’d clear the ring for a one on one clash. A huge superkick and frog splash would get a two count, before Laredo Kid got a two count off a 450 Splash. Arez would take the fight to Laredo Kid with a backbreaker, but ASF broke up the pinfall.
Bandido & Gringo would take the ring, and Bandido hit a huge DDT. Both team leaders would stack their teams on their shoulders, and ASF hit a super destroyer before Bandido & Gringo hit powerbombs. ASF was thrown to the outside and he’d catch Gringo with a hurricarana, before Arez & Laredo Kid would also set up for dives before instead fighting it out.
Laredo Kid hit a spanish fly to the floor, and ASF would be caught on the top rope by Gringo Loco. ASF would be caught with a cradle piledriver, and this one was over! What a match!
