Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
Tonight looks to be one of returns as Bobby Lashley kicks off the second reign of the All Mighty and Ronda Rousey returns to tease a match with Becky Lynch at WrestleMania.
Add to this that Brock Lesnar is expected to choose his WrestleMania opponent (we’re going with Roman Reigns) things will be interesting.
We’ll be back at the 8 p.m. EST start time to kick off WWE Raw Live Results.
Segment 1
Brock Lesnar interrupted Bobby Lashley and said he’ll face Reigns at WrestleMania, but declared it’ll be a title for title match and challenged Lashley to a rematch tonight.
MVP and Lashley declined, so Pearce added Lesnar to the Elimination Chamber title match.
Segment 2
Rhea Ripley vs. Nikki ASH
Ripley started off dominating with ease, but Nikki caught her baseball slide in the ring apron and hammered away as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
This was a pretty good one with Nikki controlling the final half, but she hesitated to pose instead of hitting a neckbreaker and Ripley reversed out of it to hit a Rip Tide for the win.
The Academic Challenge between Alpha Academy and RK-Bro is a scooter race between Chad Gable and Riddle. The first to complete 50 laps and get to the ring will win. This will probably last most of the night.
Segment 4
Alexa’s return continued as she explained Lily was real, and then the psychiatrist pulled out a replica Lily doll, she was smiling ear to ear.
Segment 5
The Miz vs. Dominik Mysterio w/Rey Mysterio
This was a quick one as Miz faked a trip off the rope to get Rey banned from ringside, then used the distraction to gran Dominik from behind to his a Skull Crushing Finale for the win.
Segment 6
KO Show
Kevin Owens welcomed Seth Rollins, and Rollins announced he’s in the Elimination Chamber without qualifying due to his Royal Rumble performance.
Segment 7
Elimination Chamber Qualification Match – Austin Theory vs. Kevin Owens
It started out fast paced as Owens took the fight to Austin, but Austin slammed Owens’ back into the ring steps as we headed to commercial.
Segment 8
This was a good back and forth with several near finishes before Austin caught Owens in the ropes and hit an APL for the win to get into the Chamber.
Segment 9
Angelo Dawkins w/Montez Ford vs. Dolph Ziggler
This was a good one Dawkins won in his hometown with a double underhook twisting suplex for the win.
Segment 10
Round 2 of the Academic Challenge went to Chad Gable when he won the scooter race after Riddle ran into Otis and got knocked back. Riddle was upset, so Gable gave him a match against Otis after the break.
Segment 11
Otis w/Chad Gable vs. Riddle
This was a decent match, but after being totally destroyed, Riddle made a comeback and won with a Floating Bro. This was so unbelievable. Riddle should’ve lost this hands down.
Segment 12
Bianca Belair vs. Carmella
A pretty decent match saw Carmella find a way to wear down Belair, but Belair fought free and hit a KOD for the win.
Segment 13
Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match – AJ Styles vs. Rey Mysterio
This started out with mutual respect between them and then a series of moves and counter moves before Rey sent Styles into the barricade with a head scissors as we headed to commercial.
Segment 14
This was the best match of the night by far, and after a series of finisher attempts and and reversals, Styles rolled through a sitton and into the Styles Clash for the win.
Segment 15
Ronda Rousey returned and Becky Lynch came out. After Rousey took Lynch down with an armdrag she said she’ll give us her choice on Friday.
Lita then came out and after she and Lynch exchanged pleasantries, she challenged Lynch for the title at Elimination Chamber.
Lynch tried to back down, but the fans were louder than during Rousey’s time out and Lita eventually pushed Lynch’s pride until she accepted.
This wasn’t a middle of the line show; not bad but not good. It had some fun moments and the Styles and Mysterio match was the highlight by far, along with Lesnar being entered into the Elimination Chamber match.
Rousey’s return felt like it lacked energy, but it’s only her second show back so she should shake more rust off.
