We reported that, Cheslie Kryst, a lawyer and former beauty Queen died after she felll from a high-rise apartment building. Now, the cause of her death has been confirmed. According to the New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner, autopsy reports say that the former Miss USA died by suicide. Cheslie had suffered multiple blunt impact injuries.

Chelsie Kryst, The former Miss USA 2019 had thrown herself off a 60-storey building on Sunday, 30 January and was pronounced dead at the scene by the NYPD. Family and friends have spoken about the demise of the 30-year-old beauty Queen, a lot of them in shock.

Charlie’s father has particularly spoken about how his daughter was sad and might have been depressed due to “family dysfunction.” Rodney Kryst also informed the public that his daughter was “pure” and didn’t have any sort of substance abuse issue.
He said it will “be a while before we can talk more.” Cheslie’s Grandfather-Gary Simpkins spoke about Cheslie’s death. He said, “To be extinguished so fast is just devastating. So hard to imagine one minute they’re here and one minute they’re not. And you know that the only way you’ll ever see them again is when you yourself pass away.”
Simpkins described his granddaughter as empathetic towards others and also one with an infectious laugh that he could still hear “echoing in his mind.”
Some other celebrities have used various social media to pay tributes to the beauty queen, while in shock. Kenya Moore who is one of Cheslie’s friends said she was devastated when she heard. “We were always Texting and talking and in constant contact, laughing and sharing.”
Moore wrote on Instagram, “She was a glorious human being and so sweet and caring, I just can’t deal with this.” Also, The Miss Universe and Miss USA organizations released statements to state how devastating it was to have learnt about the death of one of their winners. The last picture Cheslie had put up on Instagram some hours before her death, she captioned it: “May this day bring you rest and peace.”
