Chrishell Stause has been opening up about her interactions with Jason Oppenheim since the aftermath of their split.
Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause Admits That Things Only Get Awkward With Her Ex Jason Oppenheim ‘If Alcohol Is Involved’
The pair had been together for around 5 months before they decided to call things off. At the time of the split, they both admitted that they would remain on good terms going forward.
But given that this split is still very fresh in the memory, there have naturally been some hairy moments when they have been in each other’s company.
During an interview on the Watch What Happens Live show, Chrishell said: “’No [awkwardness] only if alcohol is involved.”
Aside from their prior relationship, things had not been made any easier after speculation emerged that Chrishell was being treated favorably compared to other members of the ‘Selling Sunset’ cast by Jason.
So much so that there were claims she had been given preferential treatment simply because of her relationship with Jason.
Although she denied these claims, there is no doubt that she does want to move up the ranks and get as many benefits as possible including higher commission rates.
She added: “Well I hope so — no, I’m kidding! I’m not against it. I should at least get a better commission split. I’m trying. I’ve made the argument [to Jason] and I think it’s going to happen.”
And as part of her attempts to become more successful, Chrishell addressed those suggestions that her relationship with Jason was a publicity stunt.
These allegations emerged simply because their relationship began near to the time that the recent season started and then ended towards its conclusion. She shut down those claims wholeheartedly and stated that her good ‘friendship’ with Jason is evidence of that.
She continued: “Then we would have done a way better job of making the press work, and not spoiling the breakup before the show came out. So, no [it was not made up].”
Chrishell and Jason still seem to be on good terms which should be commended as not many former couples end up having cordial relations. That is at least a positive that has emerged from something bad.
