Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
Tonight looks like it’ll be a fun one as AJ Styles returns and Becky Lynch addresses her assault on Bianca Belair to help prime their WrestleMania matches.
We’ll be back and ready to kick WWE Raw Live Results into gear with the 8 p.m. EST start time.
Segment 1
Stone Cold Steve Austin‘s music started the night and the fans went insane with the first standing ovation we’ve seen in a long time, but it was Kevin Owens dressed like him and wearing a skull cap.
Owens then ridiculed the fans and Austin in a anti-Austin promo down as Austin to boos that matched The Fiend and Seth Rollins’ HIAC match. He then mocked the stagehand throwing him beers and stunned him.
Segment 2
The Mysterios (Rey, Dominik) vs. The Dirty Dawgs (Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode) w/The Miz
The match was off to a good start before Seth Rollins came out and held the show hostage by remaining on the stage and promising he’ll have a bigger match at WrestleMania than facing Austin.
He had some mic problems before it finally died on him and he said no one can shut him up as we headed to commercial. It’s hard to tell if the mic failing was legit, but he worked it well and will probably join the commentary team after the break.
Segment 3
Dominik won with a 619 and frogsplash on Roode, and Miz led Rey into a trap by the Miz, who hit a Skull Crushing Finale on the floor and took Rey’s mask.
Segment 4
A recap of Roman Reigns running from Brock Lesnar and Lesnar destroying his SUV was shown.
Segment 5
2 on 1 Handicap Match – Omos vs. Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez
Azeez and Crews put up a fight, but Omos dominated once again and pinned both by stacking them and getting a double pin.
Segment 6
Styles came out and cut a promo about Edge, and Rollins interrupted him to try to get his spot. Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville came out and made the match for Styles’ spot official.
Here we go on another worn out storyline as Rollins gets yet another chances, albeit his final one, to get a WrestleMania spot. Copy, paste, repeat.
Can we just have Cody already and save us some suffering?
Segment 7
Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan vs. Natalya and Shayna Baszler
This was a good match that Carmella came out to see Corey Graves after she and Zelina had a falling out backstage.
Natalya and Baslzer hit a Hart Attack on Morgan for the win, and then Zelina came out and took out Ripley and Morgan with her scepter while Carmella dropped Baszler and Natalya on the floor.
They then embraced in the ring, making their backstage fight to be a ploy.
Segment 8
Becky Lynch gave a good promo about selling her soul and got in touch with her inner Gollum when she called the title “My precious.”
She then asked Bianca Belair if she’s willing to sell her soul to win the title.
Segment 9
Austin Theory vs. Finn Balor
The match started off even and Austin gained the upper hand despite Pat McAfee joining the commentary team and taking heat from Graves.
Austin was stomped to the floor, and McAfee mocked him so Balor could get a shot in from the side as we headed to commercial.
Segment 10
McAfee kept distracting Austin to give Balor chances to come back, and Balor won after rolling Austin up.
Segment 11
RK-Bro (Randy Orton, Riddle) vs. Alpha Academy (Chad Gable, Otis)
The match started off with Gable and Orton exchanging holds, and then Otis ran Riddle over on the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 12
This was a quick one Riddle won with a Bro Derek on Gable. After the match, Otis took out Orton on the floor and then went for a Vader Bomb on Riddle, but the Street Profits sent him to the floor and hit na assisted neckbreaker on Gable.
They then hit a Sky High and a From the Heavens on Riddle.
Segment 13
Tornado Mixed Tag Match – Dana Brooke and Reggie vs. Tamina and Akira Tozawa
This was a quick one with the hardest hit when Tamina fell on his little Tozawas. Reggie hit him with a splash for the win.
Segment 14
AJ Styles vs. Seth Rollins
They started it off by feeling each other off. Rollins hit a slingblade, then was sent to the floor by Styles who followed up with a forearm over the top rope as we headed to commercial.
Segment 15
Rollins kept the pressure on and stopped a Phenomenal Forearm by sending Styles to the floor, then hitting a suicide dive as we headed to commercial.
Segment 16
This was an awesome match Styles won by DQ when he was going for a Phenomenal Forearm and Edge hit him from behind with a chair.
Rollins lost it and declared it “bullsh–” and tore the ringside area apart after declaring Raw won’t happen next week unless he gets his WrestleMania moment.
This keeps his anxiety alive as many great stars were left off WrestleMania cards before, and it opens the opportunity for Cody Rhodes to come in next week as part of management above Deville and Pearce.
Of course, they could’ve found another way to do this without giving him chance after chance, but it’s typical WWE Creative. At least we’ll get to find out what happens next week. Maybe.
What did you think about it? Let us know in the comments below and thank you for joining WWE Raw Live Results. We had a blast and can’t wait for next week.
See you then!
