Rapper and actor Lil Meech, the star of 50 Cent’s Starz show BMF and HBO’s Euphoria, has been charged for the theft of a $250,000 Richard Mille watch. Lil Meech—born Demetrius Flenory Jr—was booked on two counts of first-degree grand theft and received a second charge for organized fraud back on March 14.
The alleged theft began when Meech put a down payment on the watch at Miami’s famous Haimov Jewelers in February 2022. He exchanged his $80,000 platinum Rolex as the payment but never returned to cover the rest of the $200,000 nor did he return the watch. Miami police also claim that Meech attempted to trade the Richard Mille watch at another jewelry store.

Cops also accuse him of trying to trade the watch for a different Richard Mille piece at a different store. The Euphoria star would walk out of jail later that day on a $150,000 bond.
50 Cent selected Lil Meech for the BMF lead after failing to find actors to portray Big Meech on television. He was simply in town to check up on the progress of the project when the “Candy Shop” artist offered to move Lil Meech out west and cover his acting training. At the time, the younger Meech was in school for business.
Lil Meech is the son of former drug kingpins and record label executives Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and the nephew of Terry “Southwest T” Flenory. The brothers ran the Black Mafia Family, a criminal organization that trafficked drugs throughout the U.S but had their strongest holdings in the eastern and southern U.S.

BMF formed the record label BMF Entertainment as both a front for its illegal activities and as a legit label for emerging talent.
The organization was in operation from 1989 until 2005 when a raid wrangled several members including the Flenory brothers. Both were given 30 years on multiple charges but Southwest T was given a compassionate release in May 2020 for health issues.
Big Meech—whom Lil Meech portrays in the show BMF—was recently given a three-year reduction under the new 2014 sentencing guidelines, bringing his expected release to 2028 instead of November 2031. Before that, he was denied an early release because of infractions of behind bars.
The second season of BMF will start filming in Atlanta soon.
