Joe Exotic has been hit with a prenup in his divorce case with Dillon Passage. As you may know, Exotic is moving forward with his wedding to John Graham and has purchased some pricey wedding tuxedos for the occasion.
However, his current marriage to Passage is a roadblock in that, and now his soon-to-be-ex and covering his finances with the prenup that was filed on May 27, 2022. Joe Exotic’s lawyer, Autumn Blackledge, said the prenup is fraudulent and simply a means to keep his cash cow—Joe—in his field.
Blackledge also mentioned that Passage has been selling off Exotic’s personal belongings to benefit himself and has never come to visit his husband behind bars. She also claimed that Dillon Passage has raked in over $1 million by being associated with Exotic and the Tiger King craze.
Dillon Passage Pulls the Prenup Card on Joe Exotic as Divorce Rambles On – The Tiger King $100M in Debt
The prenup aims to keep the assets they purchased while married and the assets brought into the marriage separate. Parastoo Majd, Passage’s lawyer points to the Exotic’s debts are the primary reason for the prenup.
Blackledge and Majd but heads on the legitimacy of the prenup. Majd claims that there were witnesses to Joe Exotic signing the prenup while Blackledge says that no such document was ever filed or signed.
According to TMZ, Passage’s lawyer stated:
“It is unfortunate that [Joe] feels he needs to be dishonest; however, not surprising given his character, criminal history, and jail sentence. ‘Tiger King’ is no longer, but [Joe] seemingly wishes to keep his name in the press under the cloak of this dissolution of marriage proceeding.”
With that, his lawyer said that they are still up for discussing a settlement and will contact Joe’s people on reaching one. Blackledge gave some financial insight into Joe and Dillon’s situation saying that Exotic only brings in $7,800, has $65,000 in assets, and owes $100,052,000 in debt.
She also claims that Passage’s student loan debt is $20,000 and he has $110 in his account.
Passage’s lawyer is expected to address this situation again later this week.
