Many popular topics are open on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. Cryptocurrency and investments are some of them.
In a recent episode of the podcast, featuring Khalil Rountree, the host spoke about his view on cryptocurrency and on its use.
Joe Rogan Invests In Crypto?
Joe Rogan started the topic by exclaiming that the bitcoins took the governments by storm. He compared it to something as revolutionary as the internet. And by the looks of it, it could most certainly start a revolution in the banking industry. And in finance in general.
“I think of Bitcoin the same way I think of the early internet. The government didn’t see it coming and now it’s a viable form of currency–you can actually buy things with it.” – Joe Rogan says. “The money system is broken. It causes inflation, it causes misery, and it causes wars because it is linked to oil.” – he adds.
Joe also says that it is a matter of time before some governments will find out that they can benefit greatly from crypto and will implement it as a centralized currency that they can control. Joe obsesses about government limitations and laws. He openly speaks about it on his podcast in almost every episode.
Most of the celebrities that are involved with crypto did not have this in their vision until recently. They started following it once it became a valuable business. As an open BitCoin supporter since 2014, Joe Rogan is following the cryptocurrency world since the beginning.
Even though he has not revealed whether he has some money stacked in crypto, it is pretty obvious from the claims he makes that he is following the crypto scene on daily basis. Why would he do that if he does not have an interest in it?
Throughout his career, he has presents some really interesting ideas to the world. At one point he proposes that the big companies, such as Apple, could introduce their own crypto with which you’d be able to buy their products. Since then this became a routine for MicroStrategy, Tesla, Galaxy Digital Holdings, and Block Inc, among the other companies.
Another prediction of his is the digital wallet. He says – “You will have crypto. You will have a digital wallet. It will be directly from the Federal Reserve to you. And there will be little retail banking — that just won’t happen anymore.”
Despite Joe being so positive and open-minded regarding crypto, there are still many people who do not feel comfortable with crypto. They are still skeptical of the whole system.
Rogan at one point in his career, back in 2021, receives $100 000 in crypto from CashApp to promote BitCoin on his podcast. Maybe this fueled his passion for the new currency. Would you take Joe Rogan’s advice for investments?
