For the past year, Ethan Page has been a constant fixture in All Elite Wrestling. Alongside Scorpio Sky & Dan Lambert, he’s been involved in several big matches for the TNT Championship, and has consistently shown why he was picked to join the roster in 2021. Even after a run in Impact Wrestling, Page had a lot of room to grow, and the legendary figures backstage in AEW have been something he’s taken great advantage of.
Ethan Page Is Molded By Backstage Support
On this week’s “Insight with Chris Van Vliet”, Ethan Page was the guest. When asked who he goes to for backstage advice in AEW, Page would respond with the following.
“Oh man. There are so many options. I love talking to Jerry Lynn and I love talking to Arn Anderson. I love talking to Dean Malenko. These guys have a wealth of knowledge and have helped some of the biggest stars in professional wrestling. Jim Ross too, the guy who signed The Rock. These guys have molded me without knowing it and have made me apply things without knowing it”
AEW’s backstage environment is constantly praised in interviews, with there being incredible chances for anyone to rise to the next level – so long as you’re willing to learn. Aside from who Page would mention, the likes of Bryan Danielson, Dustin Rhodes, Jake Roberts and William Regal are incredible coaches.
Page Will Be Playing Second Fiddle To Scorpio Sky For The Next While
Right now, Ethan Page is going to be looking to rebound from a loss to Miro. Page had a chance to move forward to battle for the AEW All-Atlantic Championship at Forbidden Door. But Page was unable to move past The Redeemer. This is just the latest high profile loss from Page in AEW.
Page will likely be supporting Scorpio Sky in the coming weeks, as Sky will soon be expected to defend his TNT Championship against the #2 ranked man in AEW, Wardlow. Wardlow made his intentions to take the belt clear, and very few have ever matched the power of Wardlow in AEW. Page will undoubtedly have a match with Wardlow along the way.
