In some random and dangerous news, a 20-year-old man went into a Southern California Little Caesars restaurant armed with two guns and stole food. Pablo Lucero was armed with a handgun and a semi-automatic rifle when he headed into the pizza place on June 27, 2022.
California Man Arrested After Robbing a Little Caesars – Was Armed with Handgun and Semi-Automatic Rifle
Police officers arrived at the Ontario, California establishment on West Holt Boulevard after reports of a man with a gun came in. Authorities arrived just in time as the man was leaving the store with the pilfered pizza. His rifle would be spotted in his shirt, according to the Ontario PD.
The suspect was told to comply with orders to raise his hands but refused. An officer would deploy their stun gun and managed to subdue the young man. He was in possession of a 9mm handgun and what is described as an “AR-15 style rifle.” The 20-year-old was arrested on charges of suspicion of robbery and related firearms offenses.
In their statement, the Ontario PD wrote:
“The officers who responded to the call demonstrated exemplary composure while dealing with a high stress situation involving a dangerous suspect in possession of multiple firearms.”
Lucero is being held on $100,000 bond and is scheduled in court on June 29, 2022. Also not specified is what the suspect took from the establishment and its value.
