    WWE Raw Results (6/27) – John Cena Thanked the Fans, Promised Another Return; 2 on 1 Handicap Match – Bobby Lashley Defeated Alpha Academy (Chad Gable, Otis) w/Theory as special guest enforcer by Submission; Cody Rhodes Gives an Update; Money in the Bank Last Chance Qualifying Elimination Match – Becky Lynch Defeated Doudrop, Nikki ASH, Shayna Baszler, Tamina, Xia Li to Qualify

    WWE Raw Results returned as Vince McMahon came out to the loudest pop of the night as he readied to introduce John Cena.

    The locker room joined Cena on the ramp, and then he ran into the ring to an even louder pop, demonstrating there were actual people in attendance.

    When he the quieted some, he pointed out today is his WWE birthday, and he couldn’t think of a better place to have his birthday.

    He’s never been one to celebrate milestones because he likes to look for what’s next, but tonight’s different. It has nothing to do with anything he’s ever done, and it has everything to do with the fans.

    He explained how the fans have allowed him to stand in the ring and they created their own environment. They were brave enough to tell him when he sucked, and when he didn’t.

    He’s been wanting to say thank you, and this is the right moment and the fans chanted “Thank you, Cena!” and he teared up.

    He then thanked the fans for making him who he’s become.

    Cena added he’s 45 and he doesn’t know when we’ll see him in the ring again, but it won’t just be a single match. Anything he does outside of the WWE isn’t about him, it’s about everyone coming together.

    He plead with the fans to say something if they see something that sucks or good.

    As he left the ring, he high fived and fist bumped everyone, and gave away hit wrist bands, hat, and shirt to the fans as he left and thanked them.

    2 on 1 Handicap Match – Bobby Lashley vs. Alpha Academy (Chad Gable, Otis)

    Lashley and Otis squared off, and Lashley hit a shoulder block and clothesline to no effect, so he dropped Otis with a dropkick to his leg.

    Theory distracted Lashley, and he chased Theory around the ring for Cable and Otis to catch him with a flip and splash as we headed to commercial.

    Otis continued to work over Lashley before tagging Gable in, but Lashley fought free of a double team and sent Otis to the floor. Gable hit a chop block to slow Lashley’s assault.

    Otis powerbombed Lashley and Gable hit a moonsault for a near pinfall.

    Lashley locked in the Hurt Lock on Gable for the win, and Theory attacked him from behind and they beat him down for a Theory selfie.

    Lashley kicked Theory out of the way and planted Otis and speared Gable. Theory ducked out of the ring before he could eat a spear.

    Cody breaks his silence

    Cody did an interview and said he’s going through his therapy and he’s a long way from where he was a few weeks ago. Seth Rollins’ sledgehammer extended his time off to nine months, and it’s going to be hard to watch MITB.

    He ran down the list of competitors and how they’re a unique collection.

    Rollins winning would be something. He’s not rooting for anyone, but he’ll be the first to congratulate Rollins.

    Speaking of Rollins, he approached Cena and reminded him about when he broke his nose, then switched to mocking Cena for failing his MITB cash in while Rollins’ was the greatest ever and history will repeat itself for him.

    Rollins turned around into Omos and MVP informed him he has a vision as well, and it’s Omos winning MITB.

    Cena wished Rollins good luck and left him there.

    Money in the Bank Last Chance Qualifying Elimination Match – Becky Lynch vs. Doudrop vs. Nikki ASH vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Tamina vs. Xia Li

    Everyone went after Lynch and Tamina, and forced Lynch to the floor.

    Lie gained the upper hand on Tamina while Doudrop and Nikki double teamed Baszler for an early pin attempt.

    Doudrop and Tamina squared off, but Nikki came in and they double teamed Tamina.

    Tamin and Doudrop finally traded blows and headbutts, but Doudrop sent her to the floor.

    Lynch took advantage of Li fighting off Nikki and hit a Man-Handle Slam on Li for the pin and eliminating her.

    A flurry of action followed as everyone took shots on each other, and Nikki rolled up Lynch nit Lynch countered it into a Dis-Arm-Her for the submission elimination.

    Doudrop splashed everyone into the barricade after Lynch hit an exploder on Baszler, but Baszler caught Doudrop with a knee as she entered the ring for a near pinfall.

    Baszler locked in a leg lock on Tamina, and Doudrop hit her with a splash off the ropes for the pin and elimination.

    Doudrop hit a elbow out of a Vader Bomb delivery on Tamina for the pin and elimination.

    Lynch hit a Man Handle Slam off the top rope on Doudrop for the pin and win to end a fun and interesting match.
